Beautiful! I love that the pattern itself is printed on sturdier paper, makes it much more practical for repeated uses.

Very disappointed with the pattern. I felt the bows and lace were a major part of the design yet no directions for either. I am an experienced seamstress and I found that the directions are hard to follow and unless you have made a similar bodice you will have no idea how to get it to lay nicely. Part of sleeve divided in two pieces for no reason, does distract from the look of the sleeves. Attaching bodice directly to the gathered skirt and bodice was challenging at best and certainly didn’t look as I would have wanted. Directions assume you are using a surger. Pattern piece for a neck ruff with NO directions or even mention. I could go on, but you get the general idea. Simplicity has a much better similar pattern, better design, more pieces and less money for pattern.

Instructions not written well. Examples could be enhanced. Pattern leaves a lot to interpretation by seamstress.

This is a lovely pattern. However, you'd better have experience in clothing construction because sewing instructions and illustrations are minimal. Also, there are no directions or suggestions for making the trim/decoration as shown in the cover photo.
