does not cook anywhere near as quickly as claimed.not really hot enough for things like steak and pies,takes too long and does not sear steak and you get too much liquid in cooker.does really good omelettes in about 8 minutes and you need to turn chef over during cooking.central cooking area itself is easy to clean, but rest of it needs cleaning while still hot and you need to be very careful.does fruit pies nicely but again takes a long time and chef requires frequent turning.does fried eggs really nicely and quicklywithout any mess.really only suitable for one person.as we bought 2 this is not really a too much of a problem for us but makes it a quite expensive buy compared to other double cookers on market.

The only things this gadget will cook in 5 mins are things you could cook in 5 mins (or less) in a frying pan, anyway. The accompanying 'recipe book' has about 6 recipes in it, one of which is for fried eggs......We tried omlettes, which took ages to cook, and were weirdly anemic-looking & not at all appetising. It is a complete waste of money and the advertising is highly misleading. My elderly mother saw the ads and wanted it, as she has trouble standing for v long & thought this would be useful. It isn't. Honestly, do not waste your money. Buy yourself a frying pan instead......
