This is a good chair. My daughter has been begging for one for months for her dolls. She mostly has Our Generation and American Girl dolls. I was hesitant to buy it because it was just going to be one more thing in her playroom and one more mess to clean up. I didn't get it for her for Christmas, but she got Amazon gift cards for Christmas and this was the first thing she asked for. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. It's really well made and although it was a little trick to get the foot stand screwed in (that little screw is really small), it's a keeper. She loves playing with it and I'm glad that it was better quality than expected.

Grandkids love it all ages 2yr -12yr old very good quality and sturdy with full size doll in chair.

So we've had this for less than a week and the back fabric has already picked (probably from the plastic brush that comes with it). The strap will not fit around an American Girl doll but she sits fairly steady without it. The plastic feels a little flimsy and I can't see the lifting mechanism working for long. Also the arms can come loose...snaps back in place but the fact that it happens is annoying. It's a cute chair and my daughter loves it...I just fear it won't last. (also the accessories don't work well on American girl doll...it's all for pretend so don't expect curlers to work or flat iron to smooth. also I would not recommend using the brush on the American girl doll's hair.). Overall, I do not recommend but we will enjoy it while it lasts.
