Cocos Nucifera Coconut (Yellow) Exotic Plant Palm Tree Ready to Pot,1 Live Seed

June 19 - This picture is a week after I planted, followed instructions, soaked the coconut in water for two days, then put 2/3 of the coconut in the soil with the cut side facing up. I did google and research to learn the proper soil mixture to use, added small pebble rocks on the bottom of pot, then perlite bliss, and the soil mixture contains: coco coir, perlite bliss, sand, vermiculite and coarse sand stone, mix them all and top off the pot with 2/3 of the coconut in the pot, then added pebble rocks on top of the soil. Hope all goes well, wish me luck!*I will update and post pictures if any progress.

Does coconut trees they are so beautiful now I would recommend and I would buy them again

Not what I wanted

Well it has been 9 months and they have not sprouted. I am disappointed as I hoped to have 2 tiny trees by now. The seeds have cracks in them but no sprout. I followed instructions exactly. I guess I will have to throw them out. I was so excited but now I am sad. I almost didn't buy them because of the cost but took a chance and lost.Planted as recommended will have to wait and see if they sprout. Hoping for the best. Instructions were not in the box had to contact seller, he was very nice and emailed how to plant them. They looked fine upon arrival. Shipping was fast.

I ordered 2 of these almost 10 months ago. One took about 4 months to germinate and the other about 6. This is typical with all coconut varieties in my experience. You just have to keep the soil moist and be patient. I am very happy so far. Thanks.

It's completely dead. A total disappointment. I tried to save money and buy the cheap one. Should have gone with the 45.00 one instead. You get what you pay for. It's not even worth the 10. To send it back. Buyer beware.
