Sound quality, clip-ping, design....everything's great, BUTTTTTHERE IS NO SOUND!!!VERY LOW VOLUME......HARDLY ABLE TO HEAR ANYTHING IN CROWDS, MARATHONS....plus, few great features of qc ultra lacking!!!1. No sliding Sound control2. No auto music stop feature, on removing from earSERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED, WHAT'S THE POINT OF SPENDING SO MUCH😞😞BOSE MUST AMPLIFY THE SOUND BY SOME SOFTWARE UPDATE,and is possible add feature 2 also.

Worst....Not worth for the cost.
Worst...Not worth for that cost. Sound is very low and not to the expected standard of bose. Making calls is also not clear. Everytime i have switch of bluetooth and make or attend call directly in the mobile.I made a mistake in buy this product of bose. There is no return policy to return the product.I will not recommend anyone to buy this product.Worst product of bose.

Excellent open earbuds and great sound
These are excellent earbuds. fantastic ground breaking design. Easy to pair and setup. Offers great functionality. I read a lot of mixed reviews and bad reviews on the web but I decided to trust my instincts based on previous experience about Bose products. let me tell you the earbuds sound great. Typical Bose sound. You wont even feel for a moment that you are missing a beat or the punch. Some users have complained about sound quality. After using them I can say with confidence that they need to check how they have placed the ear buds on their ear. Even Bose instructions say that while wearing for the first time you need to move them up and down and find the correct position for your ear canal. Bose sound never disappoints. Keep up the good work Bose and keep innovating

Earphones I can wear whole day
The battery endurance is good compared to my other earbuds. Sound quality is amazing in quite places. Although not good at all to wear while you walk in busy traffic commute. The button operating takes little effort and time to get hold,i.e. not easy if you are running or moving.

Stay Away!!! There is no support
I purchased “BOSE Ultra Open Earbuds” on July 18th. It worked fine, especially for music part. When it comes to phone, the sound quality is below average, especially for the person on the other side of the phone, as they had trouble hearing clearly. The worst thing was that on the third day, the left earpiece stopped working (only for phone calls). It kept on making beep sounds while the right piece worked fine. After much trouble, from the BOSE support website, I learned that rebooting the earbuds will fix the issue. I tried it and it sure did fix the problem. However, the same issue happened again after a few hours and it’s continuing ever since. On the 7th day, on July 25th, I contacted Amazon and they said they can’t accept a return or replace and it has to be done by BOSE only!!! When I called BOSE, they said they won’t refund/replace and wanted me to take it to the nearest service center, which is either in Bangalore or Chennai!!!I don’t want to deal with service/repair for a brand new “Premium” product.Update:Amazon Support was extremly helpful and resolved the issue.Summary: Stay away from this product if you plan to use it with phone. Now that I went thru the other reviews here, most people have the same opinion.Bose Support is really BAD. Not at all helpful.

Terrible product, despite the low expectation, 25k down the drain
First off, I did not even purchase the product for 'sound' quality as I am quite aware that the Open style is more of a comfort/ergonomic tradeoff. Note that I'm not bass head either. However, it doesn't seem to even meet the basic criteria of what an earphone is. The overall sound profile is highly sibilant and muddy, there seems to be no separation at all, everything sounds the same - be it instruments, voice or otherwise. Your favorite songs will sound like a soupy single sounded mess.I can barely hear anything clear even with 100% volume in a quiet room. It's worse than 250 Rs earbuds you get at the local store.Forget going to marathons or any public settings with these, you ain't going to hear a thing. (and yes there seem to be better alternatives if this is what your goal is)(And yes I did update the firmware, tried different EQ settings and also tried various ear positions)There is a possibility that the product might sound better if it fits you well, i.e. if you have small ears and the speaker can achieve better proximity to your ear canal. But there's a high chance for hit or miss.I must however say that these do sound really good for pod-casts/YT style audio/ASMR as long as there's just a single person speaking and minimal background noise so there is just that one valid use case. And of course there's the fact that they look quite good/unique. Comfort wise though, I do find them quite annoying since my ears are quite sensitive on the outer area and it reminds me of when my teachers would pinch me back in school. What really surprises me is that a minor change in sound profile/design could have done this product wonders because with just a bit more clarity and sibilance reduction, these could have served the purpose they were intended for.On top of all this, the fact that you have to roll dice and essentially gamble on a product that is 25k without absolutely no scope of returns makes this a big NO for me. (sadly I already have it and the least I could do is probably save some of you a headache and buyer's regret)Sadly though, I did read similar reviews but still wanted to give this a shot(as I'd assumed there was a chance that people didn't understand the format) and I guess I'm really to blame for that.I think there are better options available in the market, the Huawei free clips seems to be the overall better option, but I'd suggest you try a friend's before buying any earphone that follow this design format, the last thing you'd want is to end up in the same situation as me. Or better still, if stick to the traditional eartips/buds style unless you really really need open ears.
