Works Straight away but volume buttons don’t work
It worked on my Sky Q box as soon as I put batteries in. It also works on my SKY Q mini box.My only gripe is it won’t let me sync the remote as Bluetooth is needed and these remote controls only have infrared. I wanted to sync my remote so I could use the volume. But you have to press buttons 1 and 3 together for Bluetooth but because this is only infrared, it can’t set up. I have to use my TV remote to work the volume which is a nuisance having to use 2 separate controllers. I’m a bit disappointed about that hence the 4 stars but in general it works for everything else and at €15 for 2 controls .. I suppose I shouldn’t complain too much. I wish Sky would just lower the price to replace their remote controls. €50 for a remote control is a rip off so these controls are a bargain in comparison 🤷🏻♀️

Plastic wrap is almost impossible to get off
The protective plastic over the buttons dam near impossible to peel off , it’s stuck to the sides too which is worse . The remote themselves are good .

They are not very good quality. You press a number and it regularly decides you have pressed it twice. Putting the televisions pin in is proving to be such a pain.

volume switch stopped working on our existing skyQ remote, and reluctant to pay premium for original, got a 2 pack of these for less than half the price of 1 original. Work perfectly, highly recommended
