Best Box Opener Ever
I like knives. I have..well.. too many. Thing is, what do you do the most? For me it's open packages and boxes (Bezos should have me on his Christmas card list for the amount of Amazon traffic I generate). When it comes to that, this tool is the best ever. Solid. Button lock functionality. Well made. Feels like a quality tool. You can use one of the plastic break off blade type box cutters and those are actually pretty great. Cheap and work just fine. Some of the other styles work OK too but there's an emphasis on cheap. So, with those options, you don't get to use a quality tool to get into your box. To me, that matters. Bought more and gave as presents. Highly recommend.

Best utility blade knife I own
I use my knife at work for cutting LOTS of rope, I mean LOTS both wet and dry, so I can dull a blade pretty quick even with better quality heat treated and higher grade steels. I saw this and figured I'd try it. I saw the O-knife and didn't like how square and small and blocky the handle was, other utility blade knives don't give you the full length of blade to use which makes cutting anything other than boxes impossible. I got this knife and have been carrying it every day for over a year, I've probably taken it apart for a deep cleaning 3 times. There's basically no sign of wear anywhere on this knife. It still looks and feels like it did out of the box. A year of mud and dirt and pocket lint and abuse every day and it's still getting compliments. It has a butter smooth button action, nice satisfying flick, and it's easy enough to take the blade out with a torx 8 bit. Great utility knife if you don't want a big block of plastic in your pocket, and need more usable blade length.

My new everyday pocket knife.
This is just what I needed. I use my knives rather harshly in cutting open boxes and other fun things so I have to sharpen them constantly to keep them working, now I just change the blade. I prefer this style to box cutters because of its size and how it operates, like a standard assisted knife. I actually like how the blade is held in place (I have a T8 in my bag so no problem) It is well made and on the smaller side. I usually carry auto knives but with the advantages of replacing the blade rather than sharpening, I will stay with this assisted opening. The only problem I had was that the first one I ordered was delivered to another house and was not returned to Amazon or my house. Amazon did send a replacement.

Smaller than I'd like
Im giving 4 stars because of its size. It's a little smaller than I expected. Is a 3 finger grip Im disappointed it wasn't a little larger. The blade change uses a torx thats NOT included so hopefully youre a knife nerd like me and have some torx laying around. Otherwise it's great the action is smooth. Lock is secure and the build quality is on par with other civivi products I own. They do build some good stuff. Add a torx driver for blade changes and make the handle a 4 finger grip and this would be a 5 star tool.

Ergonomically perfect and aesthically pleasing!
The ergonomics on this cutter are awesome! Perfect grip for my medium size hand for a non slip grip plus the stippling on the spine for your thumb is well placed. Opens instantly with the flipper. The lock/release button works great. I used just a drop of oil to keep things right. When this cutter is open, there is no play in anything. Aesthetics are pleasant as well, you don't even think it's a utility knife until it's open. Heard folks complain about the T8 screw to change blades, but it holds the blade firmly in place, again, with zero play. The blade cutting surface is really well exposed to take advantage of each blade installed. A inexpensive T8 drive would've made this a perfect purchase, heck, already comes with a nice case, cleaning cloth, decals and a spare T8 screw, why not a $1 driver? Overall, very satisfied with my purchase. Can't wait to throw a DeWalt carbide blade in there after my T8 driver arrives from Amazon lol.

Civivi's are a great budget knife.
Bought this for my wife. She opens boxes all day where she works. Very smooth action. Even got her to spydie flick it open. Very lite in her pocket which she loves. Would recommend instead of a big bulky box cutter

Didn't realize how useful this would be
Superior buy. The most common use i have for a knife is opening boxes and packages. This is just all around better for my most common use.I still have a pocket knife, but this gets used quite a bit.
