Excellent way to lower your energy usage
Great items, really easy to fit. They turn on immediately and have made a big difference to the energy consumption going from 4x 58w to 4x 22w in my garage. The light given off by them is excellent and the fitment is really easy due to the supplied LED replacement starters.

Replacement for a very old fluorescent in a barn. Perfect!

Light my way.
Replaces a really old fluorescent tube in my loft space.This is a direct install without any need to alter the internal wiring with an old type ballast. Original is 58W, these 22W hopefully. Very bright, 6000K daylight. Very easy to swap, isolate power, remove the existing tube and starter. Replace the old starter with that supplied with the tube and finally fit the new tube. Find sunglasses and switch on.Even if the Wattage were higher the extra light would compensate for that.

Do not buy this without a lot of research.
It says it will be an easy swap to change to an LED bulb. it imay not be. Many light fittings need significant rewiring as the new bulb has power from one end only (the old type has power to both ends). A significant part of the old light has to be removed and binned. It all depends on the type of fitting you have - I would send Dependable Trading in Leeds a photo by email of your fitting (internal) and get confirmation its the right type BEFORE you buy anything. Buyers seem to be asked to pay the return postage if you dont like it and you get a credit not a refund usable with only this firm. I think this product is not accurately described in the advert and I will be making a complaint.

Quality product
I have had a fluorescent tube in my garage for a number of years. It reached the end of its life and so I looked for a replacement. I saw the LED tubes advertised and after considering all the facts I decided to buy one. Ok so it's 3 times the price of a standard tube, but what a difference. Flick the switch and the light is immediately on. It's brighter than fluor tubes and there is no flickering. So it cost more, but it should last my lifetime & be cheaper to run.Worth it!

Easy to fit
Bright cool white light. Took just 10 minutes to fit to replace an old inefficient tube and fitting. Decent price and LED so should last and last. Recommended.(Ignore the wire on the beam in rhe picture, that's for a separate security light.)
