You will become a bread maker!
I recently purchased the Cuisinart Bread Maker Machine, and I can honestly say it has been an absolute game-changer in my kitchen! As someone who loves fresh, homemade bread but has limited time and experience in baking, this machine has exceeded all of my expectations.Ease of UseFirst and foremost, the Cuisinart Bread Maker is incredibly easy to use. The control panel is intuitive, featuring a clear LCD screen and simple buttons to select various settings. The machine offers 12 pre-programmed menu options for everything from basic bread to whole wheat, gluten-free, and even jam. The instructions that come with the machine are straightforward, making it very beginner-friendly.Quality of BreadThe quality of the bread it produces is absolutely superb. I’ve tried making several types, including whole wheat, French, and even a simple white loaf. Each time, the bread comes out with a perfectly golden-brown crust and a soft, fluffy interior. The even rise is always consistent, and I love the smell of freshly baked bread wafting through my kitchen. The dough setting works beautifully as well, allowing me to shape the dough by hand if I want to get a little creative with loaves or rolls.Custom SettingsOne of the standout features for me is the customizable settings. The Cuisinart Bread Maker allows you to adjust the crust color (light, medium, or dark) and size of your loaf (1, 1.5, or 2 pounds), which means you can personalize every bake to your liking. The machine also has a rapid bake setting, which allows you to prepare a loaf in a fraction of the time, and a delay timer that can be set up to 13 hours in advance. This is especially convenient if you want the bread ready when you wake up or come home from work.Build and DesignThe machine itself is well-built and sleek. Its modern design fits well with most kitchen decors, and its stainless steel exterior is both attractive and easy to clean. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the machine operates; even during the kneading phase, it doesn't make much noise at all, which is a relief compared to other bread makers I’ve seen. Additionally, the non-stick bread pan and kneading blade make clean-up a breeze.Additional FeaturesAnother wonderful feature is the viewing window that lets you monitor the baking process. I love being able to peek in and see how the dough is progressing without having to open the lid, which could disrupt the baking process. The ingredient dispenser is another thoughtful touch. It automatically adds things like nuts, seeds, or fruit at the right moment during the kneading cycle, ensuring they are incorporated without overmixing.VersatilityI’ve also explored using this machine for non-bread items, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how well it handles jam-making. The machine comes with a jam program that makes delicious, homemade jam with minimal effort. I’ve experimented with strawberry and blueberry jam so far, and both turned out wonderfully, smooth, and perfect for spreading on my fresh loaves.Final ThoughtsAll in all, the Cuisinart Bread Maker Machine has made baking bread at home incredibly easy, fun, and rewarding. It offers fantastic features, a wide range of customizable options, and, most importantly, produces top-notch bread. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced baker, this machine will help you create consistently delicious bread every time.Highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys homemade bread and wants a reliable, user-friendly machine to make the process as enjoyable as the results!

My old breadmaker quit working
Well, it sort of worked, but seemed to be screwing up bread - like it would raise and then when cooking it would fall and just look awful. I don't really know what was happening - seems a heating coil regulator or something like that had gone wonky. I LOVE MY HOMEMADE BREAD AND HAD TO HAVE ANOTHER MACHINE!!! Yeah, yeah, I could go back to doing it manually, but I had gotten used to putting the ingredients in the pan of the bread maker and letting it make the bread. So...I had to find a good replacement and I did quite a search and looked through several bread makers before settling on this Cuisinart one. First, I had one of the original Cuisinart food processors that lasted me about 25-30 years before the plastic started showing too much wear and tear (some pieces cracked off) and even then I found one at a Goodwill store that was exactly like mine so I got more years out of it! I also have a Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker and during the summer, I have made some darn good ice cream in it! Now, back to this particular bread maker - it is Cuisinart, but I loved the little add-in ingredient drawer so that part is now "automated" should I want cinnamon swirl breakfast bread or spice and pumpkin seed bread as examples. My old bread maker's "menu window" that showed what I had programmed in was horrible! It had a sort of silver background with black lettering and the size of the loaf was nothing more than a DOT showing at the bottom of the screen! This bread maker has a bright, easy-to-read screen is so much better and I love that it has the "confirm" button as my old one was just basically start/stop. I love the ten beeps to let me take the dough out, remove the paddle, add the dough back and have bread with no paddle sticking out of the bottom. Last, is the way this one is more...horizontal instead of vertical if that makes sense. This Cuisinart bread maker has the bread "bucket" on the left-hand side where the old one had the menu in the front, the bread bucket in the back. I really didn't like that set up as I am shorter and trying to pull that bread bucket out was often more difficult when it was hot and I wanted to pull the bread to cool it off. So...this Cuisinart has several features as noted above that means I am going to be thrilled to make bread every week! OH, and if you have issues with bread makers and the lower bread sizes (not tall like the store-bought, air-puffed breads), follow your favorite bread maker yeast bread recipe BUT ADD IN a tablespoon of vital wheat gluten (used in vegetarian seitan and other vegan recipes to create meatless meat) for each one cup of flour called for in your bread recipe. I have scaled my addition of vital wheat gluten (and please keep it in your refrigerator) to 2/3rds or 2 Tablespoons of vital wheat gluten to 3 cups flour. You will find your bread rises really well and looks absolutely beautiful compared to store-bought puffed up bread! But in the end, this is my best-buy Cuisinart machine to date - it may be YOURS as well!
