I was running at 24v when I killed 2 of these, so leaving 5 stars because I suppose they would have survived at 12... Just thought i'de warn others... I ordered the first one to be the electric power steering on my rc mower. Linkage bound up, it snapped. Second one came in, it stripped the plastic internal gear. Do not overvolt and expect it to survive... it'll tear itself to shreds if your linkage binds. I'm switching to pneumatics, because every electric actuator I have used for my mower (27hp cub cadet 54 inch standard steering) DIED!

Item proved successful for use in lifting a snow plow on the rear of my vehicle, yes some reviews have stated this unit is SLOW in it extension, that is correct but the reason for it is the individual's choice on the weight this unit is needed to lift, the higher the weight the slower it operates as compared to one that was designed to lift a lighter weight

This actuator is much cheaper than the competitors and works very well. Nice weight to it but the mounts that are included are very thin and I personally would not use them. Like mentioned in the title, this thing moves extremely slow but it will get the job done for a fraction of the price if you are not in a hurry.

I don’t think the rating is correct. It may be able to push the 6000N, but the plastic end caps are failing. I wondered when it first arrived and time has proved it is a faulty design.

Got these to be a lift for a robot mower I built. The lift strenth is more than enough however all the important parts that would otherwise hold the weight are too thin or plastic and break under any jolt or stress. If you were going to use this in a place that only has to move a heavy object and not take any sort of feedback or stress like maybe lifting a TV or closing an cabinet its probably fine.

I use this to level my hunting blind. I wired it up to a rocker switch and a portable powerwheels 12v battery. This actuator is strong enough to pick the front of my 2010 jeep wrangler off the ground. For this price im extremly happy!!!!! It is slow on 12v but on 18v it works really fast and really strong!!!!
