it's a great product for camping or general use around the home. If you are planning a near off grid power solution, move up to delta pro or to delta 3 pro. or completely off grid use delta pro ultra. I love my delta 2 max, i have 2 plus 2 more extra battery. I do plan to purchase 2 more extra battery to complete my solar power system. Customer service sometimes gets you fluster but at the end they get the job done. You also need to pay attention to the item. I have several delta mini. Bought it because it said 1400 watts, but its only 882 capacity watts, to use up to 1400 watts you need to activate boast. however it drains you battery faster. pay attention to which power solution you are purchasing, their are delta 2- 1000 watts ,1300 watts and 1600 watts. also to make it more confusing their is delta 2 1900 watts and 2048 watts. delta max is 2048 watts. I love the minis, great for outdoors, camping. I use both my delta 2 max plus batteries to lower my power bill in san diego, which is the most expensive power company in my opinion.

Hurricane helene hit my small country town. We never experienced nothing like that. 18 days without power and some even more. It was getting very costly running the gas. Generator. I got the delta max 2 with solor panels. Its is awesome. And with the extra battery made it a blessing. I am actually using the 2 to help with my electric bill. Can't wait to summer and see how much my power bill will drop.

This EcoFlow 2Max Extra Battery was delivered today and I am very pleased to say it so far functions very good and nothing was broken or damaged during the shipping and delivery process as before in a previous same purchase. I can confirm that the operation and functionality is exactly as described in the advertisement for this product and additional 2048 Watts to my solar generator system will definitely cover my electricity needs during this upcoming summer months and fire season when the main power supply grid is shutdown for public safety. I purchased the Delta 2 Max Extra Battery to extend the capacity of my EcoFlow Delta 2 1024Wh portable power station. By adding the Delta 2 Max Extra Battery, I increased my backup power capacity to 3072Wh. Both units use Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, offering a lifespan of up to 10 years with over 3,000 charge cycles. The extra battery weighs approximately 43 pounds, including the connection cable. I received the extra battery within five days of placing my order. Overall, I am very satisfied with the EcoFlow products I have purchased.

Perfect Extra storage for my Delta 2 Max

I bought 3 of Delta 2 batteries, along with a Delta 2 Max extra battery to extend one of the batteries out to 3kwh, and a couple river 2 pro and river 2 max batteries (and about 2200w in solar panels). They are extremely handy in a power outage situation (just tested for days after hurricane Milton), for example 1 delta 2 could run my fridge for about 16 hrs, but with the delta 2 max extra battery, that extended it to about 40-45 hrs! Not too shabby, but if you have panels, and there's no sun...well, gas inverter generator works to power them fairly quickly.That being said, I stockpiled about 8kwh in total in ecoflow batteries in addition to 9 panels of varying strengths ranging from 200w-400w each, with the intention on being able to run my fridge, freezer, internet, power some things like tv, computers, etc, but most importantly, being Florida, my portable AC. It did all of the above great (except for the multi-day cloud cover preventing the panels from being useful), but when attempting to use my portable AC, even on a delta 3 plus (same size, but provides 2 solar inputs and more output for ac plugs), it immediately shuts down the portable AC and goes into an overload status. So, it checked nearly every box, but 90 degrees in a house in florida without ac can really really suck. It did power a few 20" box fans nicely, so I made a bit of a swamp cooler of sorts with those instead.All in all, VERY useful during a multi-day outage, but make sure you have an inverter generator to charge them as well. You will use far less gas from your gas generator in charging these and letting them take over primary power for everything that you would using the gas generator alone.The extra battery really is a must have, because it extends the range of the 1kwh and 2kwh batteries significantly! Just don't be tricked by the fact the main battery always says there is input, even when not hooked to AC power or panels.

Wow! This thing is awesome....we can go offgrid and run our refrigerator and use our electric skillet with no worries...also upgraded and bought some extras so we can do more days!
