Great for webcams too....
I bought it soecifically for holding a webcam for streaming and recording.Much better than a tripod as it's less cumbersome and not so easy to trip over.The weighted flat circular base enables the single slender vertical column with just the right amount of vertical adjustment. The 5/8" mic adapter was easily unscrewed revealing a standard 3/8" camera thread which fitted my ball and socket head.
