Rust-Oleum 376855 Stops Rust Custom Spray 5-in-1 Spray Paint, 12 oz, Flat Black

Hey, I've got an old mower. Craftsman DYT 4000 from the early 2000s. Works great, but she lost some luster and was getting light rust. Regal Red is MUCH closer than Sunrise Red for this mower.Is it a perfect match, no. But I had a handful of reds in my garage and this one won't make the neighbors laugh at you. If you do every panel, nobody will notice.I suggest about 400+ grit sandpaper unless you wanna see scratches. I did two coats over 200 grit. Turned out pretty good, but one good coat over 400 would have been easier.It painted as expected. Heavy enough for good gloss and coverage, and a few slight runs. Rub some dirt on it and ignore.

great color and the coverage is good per can. I like the options to spray different sizes and all. Sprays even and no runs. I like it.

Very good quality paint and the multi function spray nozzle use awesome. Wish all spray paint cans had the adjustable nozzle!

This new style can is great, you have better control over the paint and don't seem to waste the paint with the adjustable dial.

I use this for some outside projects so they don’t get rusty. Feels like I have to reapply the spray every couple weeks, not sure if that is normal. Pretty easy to use and definitely does the job, you just have to stay on top of finishing the projects. I like all of the settings in terms of the spray types as well.

This spray paint delivers a smooth, controlled stream and doesn’t sputter or leak like some of their other models. So much easier to use, with clean, even coverage every time.
