Great idea
Was very surprised they make these and happy I didn't have to undo all the loose wire nuts in the attic. Can sleep better at night.

High quality
Perfect tool for an in line splice. Fits just about anywhere and is super solid and high quality. I used it to splice 12/3 from a fan to add recessed lighting to a bedroom. Great overall value.

Helpful but expensive
The hinges broke easily but luckily the units still sealed with screws. they are pricy but make it much easier to cover existing splices rather than taking apart and putting in regular box. if i needed more than a couple would have went the old school route due to price.

Very useful product, so many DIYs make open splices in attics, a fire hazard, with this box, repairs can be made without disconnecting the wires

Great Idea . Great Product
These worked great for open unprotected junction splices in an attic . There are cheaper options but these type of boxes save time .No need for turning off power to bust apart splices. The junction boxes even has flush indents for inside mounting screws .
