I have wanted this 100 watt light for a A few months now. I ended up buying this combo that has the light, the battery, and the ZY to Bowens adapter. It's the perfect starter combo honestly!1. The light is so bright and versatile. Depending on your needs you can use different light modifiers to focus or spread the light to shape it.2. Super quiet low fan noise compared to my cheap spot lights. You need to listen really hard or be right next to the light to hear it. It makes it great for video productions3. The size and weight of the light is roughly about the same as a conventional hard drive. It makes it easy to carry and lower the risk factors when shooting wedding with it.4. It's easy to use, 3 buttons and have Bluetooth connectivity.This light is definitely worth the initial investment and I would also add in the extra Zhiyun tiny softbox as well. It's a must have for wedding reception and make up shotsOverall I am super happy with this purchase, the only thing I don't like is the giant brick of power adapter. That thing is like a 1990 ibm laptop charging brick. Luckily you can use a 65w MacBook pro charger with USBC to power it to replace the giant brick.

Terrible investment, I bought two of them and both battery handles failed after one charge. Tried to RMA and was told I had to pay for shipping to send it back for RMA. That was all I needed to hear, in the trash can they go. I can't have lights I am not confident in. Strongly recommend looking else where.

Me and my wife are new in photography and really don't know the frist thing about lightly. After doing some research and looking into different types and style of lighting for dual purposes. I came across the x100 by zhiyun a few you tube videos and tik tok hype this little guy up so I took a chance. Makeing my frist purchase on lighting. Once it came in I tested and tried it out. To surprise my wife with her frist light in her new journey in photography. Boy was I surprised. I don't have and light meters or way to test the lux power or the color scale so I did a more primitive approach. Testing the light color to the sun during different parts of the day. Main to see if it is strong enough to lighten up the shadow during the day. And wow it does help out alot. I my not be even close to a professional level in lighting but I would recommend something of this compact and strong to any solo photographer. Priceing is well priced compared to others in its weight limit. Only con that I can see is that the dimmer at 1% seem to be as bright as a 20w bulb se it does start off strong. With a soft box it does help to defuse the strength of the bulb for close ups. And lastly the battery life at full power did last around. 30 mins and half power was closer to an 1hour 10mins. I would love to see the battery to last at less 2 to 3 hours but I do suppose you could just purchase another battery pack incase you have along day.

At the beginning it was a wonderful light until the battery just died… you’re paying a lot of money and at least you hope that you can use your product for a few years, but after 3 month the battery just died…. Now I have to pay them to fix it…If you’re considering buying it, Think it twice!

In a pinch, this could be a key light for a tight shot, but I see it more of a creative light placement due to its size. This could be great trying to light behind a counter top, inside a car, or practically any other space that doesn't have room for larger lights. Even hand-holding it could provide some creative uses.Pros:+ bi-color+ small+ packs a good punch+ included battery pack (along with wall and battery bank options available)+ Bowens mount adapter for softbox use.+ quiet fanCons:- Price is a little high.4.5/5

Light is good but the battery stopped working and tried to charge me to fix after issuing. a recall.

I love the portability and the fact that the battery can be detached and dont need a constant power source. However, dont expect this to light up a large room and at 100W, outside filming may be a bit harder.However, as a studio light its pretty great
