I purchased this video light 3 weeks ago, and am thoroughly impressed with not only the build quality, but the size of this video light.This light has accompanied me on various shoots, both outdoor and indoor, and the 100W was more than powerful enough for my needs!As a photographer/videographer, I own a range of lighting solutions, but the Molus x100 will now travel with me for each of my shoots. Its compact size makes it disappear in my camera bag, and takes up virtually no space compared to all my other lights, all of which need a separate bag for transportation.I love that this light also comes with a battery grip that can power it for 30 minutes, as many require hard wiring for use. This light can be powered by the mains, the battery grip and an external power bank with a PD quick charge output, providing versatility to meet your needs anywhere.It has tactile variable knobs for adjusting the colour temperature and brightness, and is very responsive providing precise control of the output. It has an impressive colour temperature range from 2700K to 6500K.It came packaged well, with its own carrying case, adapter, reflector and Bowens adapter.This light also includes some smart features such as music mode which enables an automatic lighting control along with music rhythm to create fun lighting for music events or parties.I highly recommend the Zhiyun Molus X100 video light to those who want a super compact, robust and versatile lighting solution to both photographers and videographers.

I initially thought this light was quite impressive given its size, weight and light output. Unfortunately the battery pack died after ~6 months, simply not accepting a charge or working in any way. I hadn't even used it heavily. No support via amazon, you have to deal with Zhiyun. They gave me an option to pay postage on a "repaired" battery from a German service centre or send the broken unit to Hong Kong and expect a replacement in around 2months. While this conversation was going on, I used the light with the plug in adapter but if the light was powered to over 80% it would turn off within a few mins. This also happens with a 100w USBC supply. So basically the whole thing is not functioning as described. Given that the battery pack failed (and reading the other reviews it seems like this is highly likely to happen to you too), the light only works if you don't use it above 80%, no UK based support, replacement parts not being new but "repaired" and weeks, if not months of downtime waiting for a solution...I would advise anyone to spend their money with a more reputable brand with a tried and tested product and a functioning UK support network.

As a videographer, I have used various lighting equipment before, but this one stands out for several reasons.Firstly, the X100 is incredibly compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around and use on-the-go. Despite its small size, it packs a powerful punch with a 100W max output.I also love the fact that the X100 offers three different ways to charge, giving me flexibility when it comes to power sources. It can be powered on for 30 minutes by the grip battery.The color accuracy of the X100 is also impressive, with the ability to adjust the color temperature from 2700K to 6500K.One of the features I particularly enjoy is the Live Mode and Music Mode. The Live Mode allows me to turn on multiple lights at once, which saves me time when setting up lighting as a one-man crew. The Music Mode is also a fun feature, as it enables an automatic lighting control along with music rhythm to create a special atmosphere.I highly recommend the Zhiyun X100 video light to anyone who is serious about videography and wants a compact, powerful, and versatile lighting solution.

The battery died after 2-3 charges - waiting to see if the company will honor the warrenty. Appears to be mass problem.
