Does what it's supposed to -- plug in the power and phone line, and it works. Lots of features, including a built-in answering machine, number blocking, baby monitor, intercom, etc. I got the model that comes with the extra extension, and it was already registered/paired with the base unit out of the box. Setup was minimal, just setting the time/date for the most part, and charging up the handheld units (they were low charge out of the box, and took a few hours to recharge fully). The default ring is loud but not unpleasant (i.e. not shrill). Touch buttons are nicely sized and soft/grippy. I don't have any cons to list, except maybe the menu navigation wasn't really intuitive to me at first, but you figure it out.

My purchase is replacing a much loved, older model of the same three handset phone and I was amazed at how much the product has been improved. While the phone sets looked similar, the technology was worlds above the older unit. This phone was easy to set up and it offers so many more features. The clarity of both phone calls and recorded messages is excellent, as is the value for the set of three phones. It is surprising how many messages and numbers this device stores. The storage capacity far exceeds our old phone. The manual is very comprehensive, so it’s a good idea to save it to a file for future reference. I am very pleased with my purchase and I look forward to years of great service from this phone.

Received the phones yesterday and it only took me 5 minutes to get them set up. HOWEVER, programming them is something else again. My old cordless phones were more than 20 years old. Unfortunately, here in Florida, we are cursed with frequent lightening and I finally took a hit that took out my phones and also my CPR call blocker. Anyway, as to the programming, be sure to pack lots of patience to get the job done. I do wish you could adjust the volume a lot higher than available especially if you have the phone on speaker. THe sound quality is very good. There are a ton of features with this phone, most of which I will not use. But I do LOVE the amount of CALL BLOCKING that is available. If you are a person that loves bells and whistles then this phone is going to be for you. If you want something very simple then look further or just don't use the features that you don't want. THe phones are a good value and I purchased during PRIME days so did save some on that end. Over all am pleased now that I have FINALLY gotten all the numbers programmed into the phone and figured out some of the features I will use.

The quiet is amazing. I feel like I am on vacation at home. On the last day of not having this system we received about 30 robocalls. I told my husband I couldn't take it anymore. We purchased a different companies one but had an issue with it so returned that one and purchased this one. We are so happy! This seems to intercept every single robocall so the phone no longer even rings. Anyone wanting to get thru has to follow the answering machines directions. Of course you can add a persons phone into the system and they will go straight thru. Love, love, love this system! I now have peace and quiet.

These are perfect. Easy to program and easy to teach my 5 and 8 year olds how to use. A great value with good voice and sound quality. We especially like the speakerphone option for the headset!

So far it seems like a really good product. Our land line we had was really old. I’m glad not stolen. They left it in front of the garage. Luckily I saw it when I got mail. I recommend the product, but watch out for it. They may leave it anywhere.

I havea 10 year old system that still works, but wanted these to upgrade to! Well disappointed in this set, the satellite bases come with the wires attached to the base and theyre too short, The bases are very flimsy plastic too. These phones have all the Whistlesand Bells, and if youre a Rocket Scientist....you'll love these phones! Me i'm just a follower of panasonic quality...unfortunately these are not that! It took me 30 minutes just to program the date and time, and one of the handsets was defective, kept saying Insert Battery, So I had to return the entire set, theres no replacing just the one handset. The price was great and as usual amazon came through for me, with thier return policy!

Just got this item. It is confusing and will take a while to figure how to block spam calls. The instructions say they calls must enter an access code, but I have no idea what the code is. I inserted new Duracell AAA batteries in the handsets, and it keeps saying use rechargeable batteries, well they are rechargeable LOL. . I will update this review when I figure out how it works. The phones itself and the answering machine look sharp. I also do not like that the prerecorded outgoing message says, "We are not home right now". I live alone so there is no "we". Hopefully in the future. After looking over the instructions again, it says do not use alkaline batteries which is Duracell is, so I removed them and inserted the ones it came with, and the error message went away and now says charging and the date and time now shows on the handsets..
