Love this light!

I purchased this light for my mom’s front porch and it is working great. Only down side is I thought it would be brighter.

Love this light. Only problem was it’s not right in the spot I wanted to use it. So I did return it. Speedy delivery and easy return.But made very well. Sorry to have to send back.

I love the way this light fixture looks on my lanai. Arrived in box rattling around. Only one piece broken Styrofoam and a bunch of crumbs in box. A miracle the light was not damaged. No instructions or accessories (wire nuts, mounting screws), luckily I have that stuff to make it work. Don't know if it left seller that way or way damaged and repackaged in transit.

If you order this lamp from Amazon else like I did the lamp is excellent! but do not buy it from the 3rd party vendor Stores123!!!!!! they will cancel your order and then try to get your credit card number and say they are Amazon, like they did for me.

I had a non-working patio light that seemed like a good opportunity to update the styling from the previous owner. This light was a super simple install for me and all the provided parts worked which isn't always a guarantee. Once installed I was pleased with the light. This particular light is about 20 feet off the ground outside of a loft door/deck and while it's visible from the ground, it's not so bright as to be distracting, mainly just providing light for the entryway, which is exactly what I wanted. The metal frame seemed sturdy and there were no scratches or missing paint from the surface so I don't think I'll need to worry about rust. One thing to consider is that if you have shiplap like I do with overlapping joints, the height of the light means you'll need to consider how best to seal it across different surface heights as well as be careful not to overtighten the baseplate and bend it which would make the install difficult.

This will not require a trained or certified electrician to get up IF you have knowledge of basic wiring. If you are not comfortable with doing it yourself, any handyman that does your normal around the house type stuff will have no issue getting this up for you. The instructions are very clear and are user friendly for any level of knowledge. Mounting this to the outside wall may take two hands, but for the most part I'd say you can easily do this solo.The look is very nice. It is a bit bigger than I thought it would be. I eyeballed it and didn't pay as close attention to the measurements as I should of. Be mindful of the sizing if you are putting this in a tight spot. It is a nice modern look that will work pretty well with most outside lights.I thought this was of good quality. The material used is sturdy and solid. It has been up for about 6 months in the elements and hasn't shown any signs of wear or sun damage.A great choice for updating your outside light.
