I am very particular about the toxicity of the products I use. I have been using 'non toxic' home products for years but recently found out that even most of them have ingredients that can cause gut issues. This product does not contain those ingredients, and is effective. I am a bit obsessive about not putting food encrusted dishes in my dishwasher, and I have a water softener, I don't use a rinse agent other than the occasional splash of white vinegar. I am very happy to have found this product and hope they don't change their ingredients. I am surprised to see so many uses out of it, but with soft water, less is needed. In my household of three where both mom and dad like to cook and bake a good bit, it has lasted me over a month of almost daily dishwashing loads. I also deep clean my dishwasher monthly. I like that it comes packaged in a plastic free, paperboard container and has a nice wooden scoop. I would love to see a refill option without the scoop and with just a paper bag but this is pretty eco conscious nonetheless. I highly recommend this product to the health conscious consumer.

Great product! I have been switching some of my products to less toxic alternatives and this is one of the best switches I have made. It cleans just as good as traditional detergents. Easy to use little scoop, and dishes come out clean with no residue. I am a do not rinse before loading the dishwasher and they still come out clean! I also think it lasts a while for the amount you get making the price reasonable.So often I find the low tox options to just not hold up in performance but I dont have that issue with this product at all.

Trying to use more natural solutions for the regular products my kids are exposed to. After learning about all the toxicity in pods, I decided to give this a shot. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect. There’s a reason toxic man-made chemicals kick ass - they tend to work. Would Dirty Labs stand a chance? I gotta say, I’m pleasantly surprised! Dishes are equally clean compared to the mainstream solutions. The dishes dry better with pods, but I’m guessing it’s because of chemicals to assist with fast and spot-free drying. With Dirty Labs, the dishes need a little wipe with a towel, but, guess what, it feels like I’m just wiping plain water off clean dishes. I’m a convert.

This is the best detergent I've ever used. I was looking for a dye and fragrance free dishwasher detergent and after some research I found this one. I was a little wary because of the price per load but it's absolutely worth it. It cleans better than other brands and leaves no residue. Also no clumping. You won't be disappointed, I've been using this for 6 months and won't go back to anything else.

Would give 5 stars but they needed to offer a low waste refiller bag. The amount of waste with every order is crazy. A wooden spoon. A metal separator, the pkg itself.

I am highly impressed with this product! It does a wonderful job getting every dish cleaned, even with stuck on food! The directions recommend to use two scoops for dirtier dishes but I've found that one overfilled scoop does the trick! I was using a liquid detergent that was bright blue and smelled NASTY, causing my dishes to smell like chemicals. Making this switch was by far the easiest clean swap i've made so far!

If you are wanting to make the switch to non-tox dish detergent, look no further. This is the best of the best, particularly if you have hard water like I do. The container is convenient, comes with a little scoop, it’s not messy, and it really gets the job done. My dishes come out sparkling, which they never did before when using the usual, name brand dishwasher products. Love this stuff!

I've always been concerned about buying the 'tablets' wrapped in plastic. The soap works well, and I'd like to think I have less exposure to microplastics by using this old style dishwasher soap.It works fine, and as good as the other options.
