Q: Can i apply different effects to different channels? Can i have revetb and chorus on mic and delay on instrument for or example

Afraid not the effects selection is by means of a single send slider , each channel then in turn has an effect send level knob together with a mute effect button. Only 1 effect can be sent at any one time. I use for recording so no problem as I am only recording 1 track at a time to desk, but two effects running parallel on separate tracks would not be possible good for recording but would not be so good for any live work

Hi Steve , You can only use the analogue outputs of this desk connecting them into the inputs of your Stenberg ext. soundcard. You can't do multitrack recording even if your card supports more than two channels because this deck doesn't have insert inputs/outputs. USB output of the deck also supports only stereo mode (2 channels).

Yeah, its just the aux send which is like taking a copy of whatever is on the channel to the aux/monitor bus or fader. So as long as you have an output from logic going into the mixer on a channel, you can send it to the aux/monitor channel. Again because I use the external speaker socket, this turns the music from the speaker off so no spill into the mic, but I imagine turning the main fader down to 0 will cut the music from the speakers (the signal you are recording comes from the sub group outputs from what i remember so as long as those are up you should be good). I'm kinda doing this from memory so apologies if this doesn't work, but i'm pretty sure it should!
