Good money for money
I did a lot of research and I finally decided on this product. I have not been disappointed. It’s very easy to use, not too heavy or big for my small hands. It’s small size also allows me to easy reach intricate places. I’ve used it quite a bit since buying and it’s not let me down yet. It’s been very reliable. Has really made life much easier for me. The only bad thing, is the push in button to change the bits, it’s very stiff which is hard to push in with my little hands. The button has also got stuck down, and I had to get a screwdriver to help release it. Overall, I have been very pleased with this product.Functionality:Great to useBuild quality:Been very reliable so far, but there has been a minor problem with the push in button to release the bit, has mentioned.

Home Dentistry...
.. During lockdown I have not been able to get a dentist appointment, but my mentally unstable mate decided that he was annoyed with all my toothache moaning. After we both consumed loads of rum it seem a good idea to use this to drill out my back molar. On reflection this might not of been the best of ideas.

Brilliant little tool
Brilliant multi-tool; lightweight and easy to use with good speed control, essential for drilling glass. Comes with flexi-shaft ideal for precision work

Dremel 1st time user. (F54)
Super easy to use - i had to cut the chimney part of a cooker hood to fit the 45• angled sloping ceiling, then cut two rectangular holes in which to fit new vent grills. Done. repainted with high heat protective paint. Doesn’t look too bad at all.i probably used several more cutting wheels, trying to do what i did, than was necessary, but that’s all part of the new tool learning process.

Buy cheaper.
The second time the metal cutter jammed in the spindle I decided enough was enough, especially having to wait 3 weeks while Dremel fixed the problem last time,. This time it went in the bin. Buy a cheaper version, at least when it becomes jammed it won't cost as much to replace.

It’s mighty
I have to admit that I’m surprised it’s still going, my power tools tend to take a beating and I’ve already gone through so many cutting discs. I destroy the proper heavy duty tools like grinders and drills and decided to get a proper Dremel because a friend who’s much more careful with their tools said they ended up with one because all the other rotary tools they used failed. Well, sometimes I’ve been lazy and instead of fetching my angle grinder when I had the Dremel at hand knowing that it’s really a job for the angle grinder, I used the Dremel to cut through 3cm thick solid steel (yes cm not mm), sure it took some time and a few discs and it got very warm but it did it!Then I decided to grab the grinder because I had to make another cut in the same metal bar and that went through its brand new disc in the one go and became very hot, it wasn’t even an easy job for the angle grinderI do a lot of different kind of work like welding/metalworking, woodworking, custom fitting kitchens, bathrooms, all the tiling, car interiors, etc. so I’ve made full use of all of the included attachments which are greatI liked that this one came in a tidy organised box and with a decent selection of attachments, I did order more official Dremel cutting discs and their little wire brushes which I haven’t tried out yetI think one bad point is the combined power switch and speed switch moves very easily and doesn’t lock in the off position, so for example if you don’t realise it’s actually turned on and plug it in or accidentally knock it and it slides into an on position it could be dangerousI wasn’t sure if this would get much use, if it’d be a waste of money and whether it would be better to get a cheaper rotary tool for the specific job I wanted this for at first. Well I don’t regret it!If I need to get a new one in the future, I’ll definitely get a proper Dremel again but I’ll get the best one available because it’s done so much already, pretty much every job I do I say I’m going to grab the Dremel and I’m sure no other rotary tools could survive what I’ve already put this throughI was concerned it would be sitting unused in a corner of my storage room forever after the one job but it’s in use nearly every day

So far so good.
Just used it for the first time. Cutting attachment was good. The unit itself feels rugged. The instructions on how to fit the attachments was a bit naff. But well pleased overall.
