I got this for a front portion of my office that features a workbench area and which currently doesn't have a functional ceiling light. This is the floor lamp equivalent of a desktop lamp I got several years ago that I've absolutely loved. I love the versatility of modern lamps where, in addition to the intensity of the lighting, it's also possible to alter the nature of that lighting for different situations, and then flexibility allowing for that light to be directed where you want it. In this case, since the two sides each move on their own, it's two lights in one and you can either focus both on the same spot or on different spots. The touch controls on the pole are very easy to use ... and the remote control, which easily attaches to the pole via magnets, gives further controls. The only thing that this needs is some loctite since this is a segmented pole where the 4 pieces have to be screwed together. Because it does have the touch-based control on the pole as well as the fact retrieving the remote and putting it back also involved touch, I've found myself regularly retightening the pole. I'm sure it would take a lot to truly unscrew any of the segments, it's just a matter of stability when you're going to position a light and you feel some "give" in the pole. One variation of this light, which I hadn't seen beforehand but may have picked up instead, has a third light that, like a permanently mounted shower head, is always facing downward like a reading lamp while still having the two adjustable lights. Something that would been a good option if I just wanted this light to be the only light in my office. But, for my immediate needs, I still like the relative simplicity of this one which gives a "halo" effect, which fits in neatly with my celestial design motif.

This floor lamp is wonderful. I like that the pole is sturdy and the halo light can be moved, so you have light where you need it. Another great feature is the pole is magnetic, so you can attach the remote quickly and securely. The coolest thing is selecting a reading, nursery, computer , and bright modes of lighting adjustments. I ordered two more.

I LOVE THIS LAMP! It is so easy to use once you learn the buttons on the remote! AND there's touch buttons on the lamp pole, top! This lamp is so much fun and beautiful 😍 I love that I can make the colored LEDs brighter or dimmer! If you see this review, buy it. You will love it just as much as I do! It was easy to assemble but the directions in the book were just a little confusing. Especially how to activate the remote. But, its not as complicated as it seems to be. Absolutely worth the money spent!

We saw this light at an airbnb and I loved it so much I had to track it down. I like how you can change the color of the light from warm white to bright white and the controls on the stand are so convenient when we're reading in bed. Also love how you can move the head in two different directions to control the light. The only downside is that it's pretty pricey for what you get. I'd expect to pay $45 or so but paid over $60.

There’s a lot about this floor lamp to like. And it is super simple to assemble. The instructions didn’t mention it, but the only “tool” you’ll need is a pair of scissors to cut off the plastic that protects the finish. The instructions say to pair the remote with the lamp. Mine came already paired and worked just as soon as I put the batteries in. BTW, you’ll need two AAA batteries as they aren’t supplied. Also, it’s cool that the remote will “stick” to the lamp magnetically - one less remote to misplace! You’ll need to play with then light positioning (the two rotating light half circles) and with the right “color” and brightness of the light. By color I mean how white or yellowish you want it to be. I plugged my lamp into a smart plug that I use with Alexa and it works fine. There is a very short delay between the on/off command and the lamp response. Also, because it is the plug and not the lamp that is the connection to Alexa, she can’t understand commands to adjust the light intensity or color. If there is only one thing I would like to have is the ability to control each half of the light separately. For example, I have half point up towards the ceiling and the other half is angled towards my recliner. It would be nice to make the ceiling part brighter while the part pointing to my chair is less intense. It’s definitely not a deal breaker, but would be a nice feature. For the price, though, this lamp has a lot going for it. Glad I bought it.

It had a remote and touch control on the lamp. It had warm and cool white light. The remote also had presets for the lights for quick adjustments. I love the height for behind my couch. The light bars adjust independently which is nice. You can have very bright white light and very dim warm light. Great for relaxation in the evening or bright for crafting or really any activity you need bright light for. Very easy to assemble. And pleasantly surprised at the value for the money.

Assembly required but it was simple. 4 color temperatures and continuous dimming. Perfect accent for guest room.Remote doesn't come with batteries. Takes AAA.

My husband loves this light and the options for dimming and color change!
