I bought this because I have a fan I want to aim at different places in the room. The fan itself has slats that will aim the breeze a bit, but not like I need. So, I bought this to put the 4' high fan on so I can easily adjust it instead of picking it up each time. It works great! I was worried about it working on carpet, but I shouldn't have been worried. =)

I purchased this for my craft/art room. I haven't actually used it yet however it arrived and needed no assembly. It is sturdy and rotates freely. It is not elevated.
