Works as advertised
Must admit I had some skepticism about how well this would work, but after sorting out how to put it together (took all of 10 minutes), this thing worked great. I did attach straps to the rear wheel to ensure the mower was solidly attached to the jack, but the mower was easy to raise and lower. I ended up raising the mower to sharpen the blades with an attachment on my cordless drill. The deck was far enough off the ground to easily sharpen both blades. I also added a couple dollops of white lithium grease to the screw before I lifted the mower up the first time to ensure the screw had plenty of lubricant.

Doesn’t Lift High Enough for Easy Access
Doesn’t really lift high enough. Two feet at the angle it leans, you barely can see or reach under it. Also, it could have provided a handle or a way to use your drill to crank the lift. Manually cranking sometimes is hard, especially if the metal grooves aren’t properly lubricated. It’s well built and easily to assemble. The safety feature pin seems to make this safe however, I use auto safety jacks (bought separately) to assist in safely using.

It works
This is a goofy looking thing, and at first it doesn't look like it could possibly hold the weight of a ride-on mower. But when you get the wheels in place and ratchet it up, it actually works. You may have to fiddle with the wheels wanting to slide out of place, but this is a minor irritation. I don't think I would want to lay down under the mower with only this to keep me from getting squashed, but for changing belts, it does the job.

Not a good product
The basic idea is great, but a bracket that locks the threaded screw in an up-right position Broke and I searched the site to replace it. I tried everything I could find about the manufacturer to try to get a replacement part and couldn't get ahold of anything. It's pretty bad when you can't get info from the co. still no replacement. Personaly I would send it back to Amazon if I could.

This gadget really works
I bought this because my rider had swallowed a hose. Very little assembly required. Within 15 minutes I was lifting my rider to get rid of the errant hose.

Not necessary for smaller riding mowers
I purchased this to change the belt on my riding mower. I have a small Craftsman R110 and once I received this, it did the job. But, I realized with such a small mower, I could have easily just used a cinder block or something to do the job. I do believe it would be beneficial for a larger mower
