Pre de Provence Shea Butter Enriched Men's After Shave Balm, 2.5 Ounce - Bergamot & Thyme (Packaging may vary)

Great smell, creamy lather, seems long lasting. The number of ounces per container on many of these shave soaps being offered today has been rapidly diminishing from 8 oz all the way down to now 4 oz. Anything over 4 oz is unique in this marketplace. Load up on them now because I'm pretty sure at some point it will be down to three or four ounces for the same price.

Nice hard soap. Smells clean but not overpowering. Lathers well-leaves my face feeling good.

After years of using Pre de Provence No.63 I was excited to find out they made another scent, Bergamot & Thyme. Just like No.63 their Bergamot & Thyme lathers incredibly well, provides above average slickness for its price, and does not irritate my sensitive skin like some other soaps. The puck also seems to last forever which is good or bad depending on how many soaps you own.The big let down was how mild the scent is compared to No.63. I was really hoping for something stronger and I would not have bought this soap if I could have smelled it beforehand. In my mind Cremo's Sage & Citrus scent strength is everything Bergamot & Thyme should have been. I've taken to loading my brush with Bergamot & Thyme, then adding a pea size amount of Cremo's Sage & Citrus to amp up the scent. Combined they also create a teflon like slickness that is unmatched by either of them on their own.

Good lather, very good lubrication, light & pleasant scent. The wife likes. This and the #63 are my go to shave soaps. I've got a few creams, tried TOBS (gets consumed way too fast), and these are simply the ones I return to over and over.The bergamot and thyme is a light scent than the #63, and for general public probably more pleasant. For a more masculine scent, the #63 knocks is the ticket.Top tip: adjust the amount of water in your brush to get best performance. This soap likes water. If you see little flecks of soap flaking off when lathering, add water.

I wasn’t sure how I would enjoy this scent. But the reviews were very positive. They were right! Scent is not overpowering, by very pleasant. A unique scent.The soap is hard. It only takes a few passes with the brush to get enough for a shave. Lathers very well. This will last for a long time. (Picture is after prob a dozen shaves. You can hardly tell it’s used.)I like that it comes in an aluminum case instead of plastic.

The best balm I have used, and I have used several different brands over the years. Great product.

This smells really nice. I purchased it for my dad, who has not found an aftershave balm that he likes since the original Polo green was discontinued. This doesn't smell exactly the same, but it is similar enough that he loves it. We will be ordering more.
