This item SAVED me after my wisdom teeth extractions. I got all 4 removed and realized that food was getting stuck in the holes. I tried using my water flosser and the pressure was way too strong that it made me bleed again. Once I got these the recovery has been going so smoothly! These work fine for cheap temporary tooth problems. If you have something like a deep pocket you definitely should get a water pik. It's difficult to properly use these. It's slippery to hold. Awkward to get in to the back of your mouth because the nozzle is curved so heavily. And all the measurements rub off after a few uses. If you have any hand strength issues you will probably struggle with this. They work, but If they weren't so cheap I wouldn't recommend it at all
