I love this canopy as far as how easy it is to put up and take down. It does take a little practice, but I do it all by myself which is why I selected this one. I live near Houston, so it is hot as hell outside here all the time. My HOA does not allow trees, so we just fry in the backyard. My dogs have no shade except the patio, but they prefer to be in the grass. You can see it really only gives you the shade of the top so less than 8x8...but something better than nothing. The flap is removeable, and you can move it as the sun moves. I have since bought a second flap because it gets old moving it because I am lazy, not because it is hard. It is super easy to move it. You will need to anchor it down with wind. I use the stakes and sandbags on the legs. I also bought the canopy extension but you need more than 1 person to put that up and I can't do it so I may have to send it back. You can't get the extra flap or canopy in this color either so that was a bummer. Overall, it is worth the money to not have to fumble and need 2 people to put it up. Super easy up and down and storage. Love this product!!!

Don’t purchase if you’re in an area with wind!It’s easy to set up but doesn’t stand up to anything over a light breeze!

I can have it set up amd staked down in about 10 minutes with a small amount of sweating. It took me a 2 hours and a youtube video to figure it out the first time . The frame is outside of the tent so I started off backwards. After 5 uses for a face painting tent, its showing some wear. That could be because get the fabric twisted around the legs. I was comfortable standing up in it . I bought the extra canopy side to it and it provides great shade . Its fast to take down. Lightweigt. A great carrying bag.

This canopy was exactly what we wanted/needed! When not in use it is lightweight, easy to store and carry. It is also very easy for 1 person to set up or take down (as long as it's not too windy of day)!It does take a little extra time to setup the first time, but every time after that has taken less than 5minutes for me to setup/take down by myself. We have used this for all-day grass volleyball tourneys and at the beach, and it has worked well and staked well in both the grass and sand. It provides good shade and we have been able to comfortably fit at least 2 folding chairs, multiple bags and coolers, etc.Only recommendation would be to go ahead and order the extra side walls. We ordered the canopy with only 1 side wall, and now wish we had two more (but they are currently out of our color).

Well, this 77-year-old, 5'1", not-very-strong, woman just set this canopy up in her living room all by herself! I can't add more stars, yet, as I haven't been camping with it. But the set-up part is very encouraging. I'll get back to you after I have had a chance to use it a few times.It did take me a while to figure out the instructions, however.I wanted to add to my review after I had taken the shelter out a few times.It is still easy to put up and take down even in different situations. Also, it has been in a wind and rain storm and came through intact through both.I did, however, hesitate to take it down in the wind as I wasn't sure I could be in control of it by myself, but, of course, I did take down the panels. I am not sure I really needed to buy the awning as moving the panels around with the sun seem to provide nice shade. It is nice that the awning can be put anywhere, though. It is not super big, which is why it works so well for me. I am pleased with this product.
