Reliable product. Been using these with the wafers on my wife's colostomy going on 4 years now. Makes her feel more secure.

These helped me with reducing the skin breaking down around my stoma.I have a newish ileostomy, so the size is a little odd (kind of oval) and I’m having to cut the pouch to the right size. I’m not great at this honestly, so I would have skin exposed which started to breakdown and had a shallow open wound. It was painful. I found these when trying to figure out what to do about the skin breakdown. It really helped. To put it on, I took my scissors and punctured a whole in the middle of the adhesive square, and then from that hole I cut a hole for my stomach (just like I was doing for the pouch. Then, I would flush the whole to two sides of my stomach (Ex. Bottom and left sides) and would flush my pouch from the other two sides (ex. Top and right). Most of the time, this worked wonderfully. I also used a hot pack or a blow dryer for up to 10 seconds to help adhere this to my skin.This adhesive patch is harder to take off the skin and adheres to the wafer too much to just remove the pouch. The adhesive remover spray will be your best friend in getting that sucker off, but you have to use more of it than normal and go slow. I didn’t find the adhesive wipes helpful with this. Ask the first time taking it off was worse I think because I think it pulls out small hairs on your abdomen. Regardless, I find not having the pain of the stool output agitating my skin and avoiding the skin breakdown to be worth it.If you’re on the fence, I’d seriously recommend just trying it out and see if it makes a difference for you.

Worth the money! Brava got some good supplies! They are strong and are thick giving more support! actually the best I've ever used.. so if you're tired of spending money on other supplies that don't work and end up being a waist of your money anything marked with the "brava" logo snatch it up you won't be disappointed!

We would prefer to buy these out of pocket than to use rings or paste approved and supplied by insurance. Easy to place, cut to exact size if your stoma (no one size fits all issue here), AMAZING skin friendly super adhesion (but easy to remove) for colostomy patients experiencing colostomy leaks and/or skin breakdowns. We initially used it to so we wouldn’t have to place the bag anywhere near her surgical wound bc her bag would always leak. It’s not a problem anymore! About the size of 1.5 standard sticky notes, so great area of protection. We’ve had ZERO bag leaks and her skin is back to normal (finally)! Wish we knew about these months ago!

They work great but it’s hard to believe that Coloplast doesn’t print circular stoma sizes on these like they do their bags. I realize that they can be used for more things than just stomas but I’m guessing that this is one of their main purposes.

I am pretty new to the ostomy world, so I’m trying all kinds of things. These work much better than the rings for me. I have some crevices left from surgery, these go right over them, no problem ! Definitely order the spray adhesive remover. That stuff works so amazingly! Life savers when you finally find what works for you!

This sheet covers irregularities in skin (wrinkles, lines, bumps, curves) and provides a great surface for which to adhere the pouch. Can use in conjunction with a stoma ring to simulate a convex pouch. It protected my wife's skin so it could heal from inadequate cleaning by home care nurses while providing for a superior surface for the pouch. We stopped leakage and healed skin. Great stuff!

Amazing product! I purchased these in the hopes that it would add an extra layer of protection around a stoma. It worked amazingly well! For anyone who is struggling with skin irritation, I highly recommend getting a pack or two of these. Best way to apply is to place them directly against the skin after any "crusting" technique has been completed. Make sure no powder is left on skin or it will adhere to it and not stick on properly. Be sure to also add a barrier ring on top of this product. I have been doing this for a few weeks and have not had any skin breakdown and it's a very strong seal. Adheres to skin best if you can press something warm against it or blow dry it lightly.
