Raw Organic Nama Shoyu-32 ozs. by Goldmine

I have to say that although this isn't really 'cheap' and I was hesitant at first, I find the product very worth the price. I never realized what a difference there could be in soy sauce or shoyu. Honestly, the other market brands just do not come close to the taste of this. I'm tempted to take a small swig of the stuff. lol I still purchase plain-Jane occasionally but only for cooking with. I try to use this as a seasoning after cooking. It is fermented which some claim is the healthiest way to have it. I can't speak to that but if you enjoy using soy sauce in your food, this will certainly take your cooking to a new level and you probably won't be able to do without it. I use it on grilled steaks as well as Asian cuisine, in soups, etc.

I did not like the taste of this Raw Organic Nama Shoyu- 32 ozs. product; It does not taste like the typical soy sauces I have had throughout my life. For taste, my favorite (soy sauce-like product) is Bragg Liquid Aminos (which does taste like soy sauce, but much stronger; which I like).

Natural Zing provided some free samples and I called them up with a question about one of them and they were friendly, knowledgeable, and it was a joy to speak with them. I even asked for some recipe ideas for the Nama Shoyu I bought and their ideas turned out great! I will be ordering again.

Upon opening the smell was fine, but after tasting it made me feel ill.

I can't believe how tasty this soy sauce is. I use it to make dehydrated flax crackers. Healthy with Omega-3 fatty acids. Yum.

Very good quality, but after a little while of being open it tasted a bit sour?maybe I should purchased a smaller bottle! doh'!
