Corsair CV Series CV750 80 Plus Bronze ATX Power Supply

It is ProtectIng my Desktop PC: Before it purchased, Below Rs. 1500/- worth 450 watts SMPS I was used in my Desktop PC, When AC power fails, these SMPS could not boot with in Milli Seconds DC Power (Which is UPS or Inver Power), this leads PC shutdown and restart, due to this result: 1. Some times OS currupted, reinstll OS and Upto not auto-save work loss. 2. Some times SMPS Fails, I replaced nearly 7 SMPS for my 3 Desktop PCs when SMPS fails. I fed up. I analysed failure causes: My Desktop PC have Graphic Card, I am doing Auto Cad Drawing works. These Cheep SMPS Could not supply required rating power to the components of Desktop PC. Lot of search in Internet, calculate wattage power required, what is excess wattage to stable and future upgrade or add in components. I Decided, Purchased this American Brand CORSAIR SV 550 in my Budget Rs.3,599, and install in my Desktop PC. Now it working well, No OS corruption, No SMPS burnt. With my more than 2 years experience: I fully satisfied (100 %) and re command to every. Thanks to CORSAIR INDIA AND AMAZON INDIA.

i am using this product for 1 year now and not facing any power issues in my pc, actually i purchase this psu for my graphic card which i paired with ryzen 5 2600 and rtx 2060 super, and i do not face any stutter in games and it delivers good power to my pc built,and also some of my geeks friends who are interested in gaming pc suggest me to go with corsair brand in terms of power supply. And i must say that they were right about this.Thank you corsair for providing us such good products

I wanted to step-up my 450Watt SMPS with 550Watt, so I ordered it, working fine with my old PC but requires high wattage too, I have old UPS when I connect this PSU & CRT monitor, the system is rebooting as this PSU needs high power. So now its kept as stand by, might be useful for my next gaming PC build. About the product; its good one, package was sealed, comes with PSU cabinet screws, buff black colour, molex N sata power outlets, even have GPU power outlet. cables are thick so consumes much space in cabinet. Have on/off main switch on PSU, but only AC input (IEC C14) no AC out put (IEC C13) which my old PSU has. Happy with the purchase & price is fair.

After almost 2 Years of usage I've had no problem but yesterday (30 May 2022) we faced a power surge in our area and my PSU stopped working. It shouldn't be surprising but after examining the Power Plug of PSU which is Fused contains a Fuse of 13A for plug 13A|250V i.e around 4000W for a 450W PSU lmao how can a brand like corsair use such fuse standard for a PSU cable when even a 4 Socket Outlet Extension would use a 10A Fuse at max load for 4 Sockets.The Plug is just not built for Indian usage to save PSU.I think they might have included a fuse inside PSU but using such a high Amp Fuse is just senseless.And my friend who uses a 550W model has same fuse rating plug i guess they use 13A Fuse Plug For all of their models.Overall it's fine like any other branded PSU but i would suggest using a surge protector and another proper fuse extension board or plug rather than using it directly as Fuse is totally useless in our region.

Maybe sometime it's price is high but i worth the price i buy it for 3k 1.5 year ago and till now no problem even after 1 year power supply is constant like 80+ bronze.

Reviewing after 5 days of usage....At first, i just thought of going to buy 550w psu...but it was just 200 rs less compared to 650w. So i bought this for future proof..and i had no idea that this psu will fit in my old cabinet,pros:it fits perfectly well,Wires are braided...so it is sturdy,Complete utter silence(previous i was using local zebronics psu...which makes much more noise)now my pc runs very quietIt has 5 years warrantyValue for moneyOverall I'm happy with this purchase😊

I have purchased Corsair CV550 which is perfectly working on my pc. But the Only thing that disappoint me the power cable provided. The power cable does not fitted on my APC 1100VA UPS and Microtek 600VA UPS also. It also not compatible for general switchboard. So be sure you have extra power cable. The PSU is Awesome, no doubt about it. Strong build quality and silent . My Pc specs is......................Amd PhenomII x6 1090T Black EditionGigabyte 990FX Motherboard18 GB 1600 mgh Ram500 GB SSD1TB HDDSapphire RX 570 Graphics4 Cooler master Argb fanAsus Xonar 7.1 Sound cardWith this configuration the PSU working perfectly without any issue.

I Needed an Good PSU because I have changed more than 3 local company's PSU within a 2 year so now I decided to buy this high quality PSU with Warranty. And More than that, I wanted to stop the Random shut down of my PC and solve the inability to supply power to Internal & External HDD.This PSU has solved all that problem and my USB ports are also working again. A good Quality PSU is indeed Needed for system with 2SSD+1HDD+1 External HDD.I suggest to check Cabinet dimension as I will need a new cabinet for this PSU ,as it's slightly bigger than local PSUs.
