Amazing Cooling
This thing is amazing! I just built a new PC, and the secondary nvme drive was behind the motherboard with no heatsink. Did a bit of testing and my temps were around 50C idle and 85C under load (crystal diskmark). After applying this heatsink it dropped nearly 35C, with idle temps of 36C and a max of 51C under load! I was expecting an improvement, but this far exceeded my expectations!Love the build quality too, has a heatsink and everything is made of metal. The install process is super easy, just peal the thermal pad covers, put in your drive, attached four screws and you're good to go! It does cool double sided nvme's and it fit in the back part of my nr200p max without issue. Note, the heatsink is a bit tall, so I don't expect this fitting in a laptop or ps5.

Looks Good, Works Good
Got this for my 4TB WD_Black and yeah, it’s pretty great. Is it necessary? Not really if you’re not on your computer as much. Is it worth it? Absolutely.

Great
Be aware that this heatsink is tall, so if you plan on putting it in the m.2 slot below your videocard it might not fit properly.

Nice Bit of Gear
Sits snugly under my graphics card - and I mean SNUGLY. Buyers beware that this cooler does have some thickness due to the heat pipes and may not fit all applications - the MC1 version doesn't have the pipes and is quite a bit shorter.Keeps the drive (970 EVO Plus) around 5 to 10c cooler but would likely be better with more airflow - situated as it is practically under my GPU airflow is limited. Has enough mass to where "normal" use won't cause any thermal issues, but if I were to do a lot of 500GB writes to the drive I'd feel better with more airflow around it - it does a fine job for what it is - but it IS a passive heatsink with limited airflow. It's in the WORST spot on my board and it's doing as well as can be expected - it's quality, but not able to violate thermal dynamics.Packaged very well, included a magnetized screwdriver. None of the 4 screws ever got "tight" - maybe by design (didn't look at the TINY screws to check). Used a little blue locktite on the screws just in case - likely not needed but better to be sure.DO NOT remove the "sticker" on your NVME unless you know FOR FACT that it is just paper. Removing it may void your warranty and, if it's a Samsung, that "sticker" is actually a heat spreader itself. Also - on a Samsung - if removed, yes, bubye warranty. Testing also confirms that, at least with Samsung, performance is better with it than without it. So again, only remove if you KNOW it's just paper - my understanding is that's pretty rare on quality drives. So, tl;dr - it works. Everything you need and made well. If you're in a situation where the heatsink will have some airflow along the fins I'm confident it will work well.

Great Heat Sink
Great Heat Sink. Even fits my Dell Micro PC.

You might need a longer screw
It's easy to install, but depending on your setup you need to get a modified screw.I put it on a Samsung 990 Pro 4TB. When you add the bottom part of this heatsink it sits up a little higher on the motherboard and a standard screw was not long enough to hold it down. I ordered a 6mm screw and that worked.

Looking for Playstation PS5 upgrade? Buy this!
I installed this with a WD Black 1TB M.2 SSD in a Playstation 5. It fits perfectly, and you can leave the metal slot cover off entirely (the original cover for the PS5's SSD slot). It's unnecessary and actually cools another 5 degrees cooler without the slot cover! 😎Installation was a snap, with the Pro cooler having both a hefty top heatsink with copper tube core, and an aluminum backplate. The backplate and hestsink both have thermally conductive pads preinstalled, all you need to do is remove the protective paper cover from each pad.The backplate is secured to the heatsink using 4 included screws and an included micro screwdriver.Whole process takes just 5 minutes!

It works!
I usually don’t take the time to write something to go with the rating, but this was worth itI have the same NVME in both the primary slot and secondary slot of the motherboard. In the primary slot, the NVME runs at 36C. The motherboard has a built in heat sink so the temperature was under control. My second NVME slot was on the back of the motherboard and it got to a toasty 72C. After installation of this heat sink, the temperatures dropped down to a high respectable 38C.Definitely worth it in my opinion. Just make sure you have enough clearance for the heat sink. The case I had was a Cooler Master NR200
