Hydration Hose - NOW - Capable!
I love Sea To Summit’s Watercell bags and think they’re truly an efficient way to travel with and store water on my adventures. The proportions and durability are outstanding!I’ve been traveling with my Watercell bags on my kayak for years now and discovered that they’ll float. That was a very panicked moment the day my Watercell bag went overboard into The Gulf. I was considering diving into the snake & alligator canal when it popped right back up alongside my kayak. I couldn’t believe it and was SO grateful. ☺️And now I’m able to take my 4-L Watercell with me on my Ruck Hikes since I’ve figured out the hydration hose issue. (See measurements for parts below)I was forced to sanitize my last review so you’re seeing the edited version. You’ll just have to figure this out through my picture and with the facts/measurements I'm including below:• Outer STS Cap thread is 63 mm female• Inner STS cap thread is 1/4” male• Included Cap will not work as the specific plumbing part required to adapt to the 1/4” threaded coupler to a 28 mm cap/thread has mysteriously been discontinued everywhere. I scoured the internet, bought a bunch of parts, and traveled to 3 different hardware stores to try and figure out a solution. A plumber at the hardware store walked me down a rabbit hole as to why the required part is discontinued/not available & shared the same is true with garden hose manufacturers.• You will need a different 63 mm male threaded cap that also has a secondary inner cap of 28 mm male threading to replace with a 28 mm quick connect cap (orange cap in my picture).I am unable to detail out the particulars as to not get re-flagged for violating community standards so you will have to either ask questions or hunt for the details like I did.The good news is that it can be done. And the addition of adding a hydration hose has made this bag even better than before!!!

Brilliant Idea
I bought these to replace some old blue plastic jugs I bought at Walmart. These water bladders are a huge improvement and a very well thought out and designed product. My old blue jugs took up a lot of space and were rigid. The Watercell is flexible and you can fit them in tighter spots in my truck. I opted for the 20 liter as I could just fill with less water if I wanted a smaller foot print. Once you purge the air the Watercell conforms to the amount of water in the bag. It has an adjustable carry handle as well as an adjustable cap. The cap can be used to dump a large amount of water quickly or you can use the smaller spout which you can adjust the flow of water with. There's also a shower spout you can add to the cap so it doubles as a solar shower. Kind of expensive but well worth the money. The only thing I don't know yet is how well they will hold up over time. If they end up being durable, I plan on buying more and using this for my primary water storage for camping and overland trips.

Very nice
These are wonderfully engineered like so many sea to summit products. They are also premium priced like most of their gear.I like that they include a shower nozzle and that it attaches to the very hi tech straps. I don't like that the loop of the strap is quite a struggle to get the nozzle over and they didn't include a way to store the other nozzle when not using it. I remedied that by using a bright piece of string and just close that black nozzle over it. That already paid off as I dropped that nozzle when detaching the strap I attached it to and it was easy to find when I realized. I've included a picture of that.Someone posted about converting this to quick connect and I'm researching that now. Don't know why that would be flagged and if the poster sees this will you post on Reddit to help all those that follow?

Great for trip and look forward to more uses
This thing is great. Have the 10L size. I pack it with me whenever I travel. Recently took it to Hawaii for two weeks and filled it up at the hotel for free and then filled up water bottles in the room, so didn't have to pay an arm and leg for bottled water at stores. Also fill it up before car travel, especially in the summer you never know when you need a couple gallons for your hydration or someone elses. There is a fish tank in the house, I could care less, but the 2 gallon tank has to be changed every two weeks. Filling this up at the store for $0.25 per gallon is better than buying two gallons at $1.40 each. When car camping, it also makes a decent pillow.

Great Water Storage
I needed something that I could put water in for motorcycle camping so space saving was an important feature. I can bring more water than I need, hang it from a tree to dispense, and once empty roll it up and put it in my side bags. No bad tastes and no leaks.

Surprisingly bulletproof
This thing was surprisingly bulletproof. I took it on a long and pretty brutal 800 mile plus Backcountry Moto camping trip (socal BDR), and had this in my panniers often times completely full, and dropped my bike right on it multiple times and this thing did not pop. Very impressed. The shower feature and handle features are very nice I used it a lot by hanging the bag off the handlebars of my motorcycle and then using it to wash my hands. I only wish there was a way to actuate the nozzle cap with one hand because right now you really have to use two and so oftentimes with this led to was me having to turn on the nozzle then quickly go away grab my item and wash my hands and quickly go away again put the item down and then come back to the nozzle and close it which would waste a lot of water. Also something to hold a bag with one hand steady while I can free up my other hand to handle whatever water source would be really useful as currently it's a two hand operation and oftentimes a two person operation to fill it up with say another unwieldy object.

Shower Time
Using it as a shower, with the 6L about 95% full, I am getting 4 minutes with a solid stream, plus another 1+ minute with a single stream as the pressure falls. Maybe another 30-60 seconds of slow dribble after that. You will know when to hurry and finish as the pressure steadily declines. I was debating between the 4L and 6L, and am happy I chose the 6L to have a more comfortable shower.
