BUG BITE THING Suction Tool - Bug Bites and Bee/Wasp Stings, Natural Insect Bite Relief, Chemical Free - White/Single

This is the second one I have bought for our household. I won’t go outside without it. We are recent transplants to Florida, and these are the meanest mosquitoes I’ve ever met. Sure, the Louisiana mosquitoes are the size of hummingbirds, but they’re not real go-getters unless you’re in the swamp.These Florida mosquitoes are sociopathic. Insanely aggressive and their bites are nasty and itchy. AND THEY ARE IN OUR BACKYARD!Two days ago I was in the yard and was attacked by a gang of these creatures. They dive-bombed me from all angles and chomped down on me more or less simultaneously. Side note: At the same time I learned that “natural” bug repellent made with essential oils might work on less ambitious mosquitoes, but it didn’t work with these.I ran inside to avoid further attack and grabbed the Bug Thing. I had a huge bite on my forehead (one of 12 bites in total), and it itched like crazy. I didn’t want to do to my face what I did to my arm a few years ago, scratching like a maniac while I slept and ending up with a scarred arm and blood-stained sheets. So I busted out the Bug Thing.In my eagerness to get rid of the itching, and because the bite was big, I kept the suction going for a long time. Too long, as it turns out.I didn’t read the instructions with our first Bug Thing, because it seemed self-explanatory, but the devil’s always in the details, isn’t it? Turns out, there’s a big fat warning about not using it on your face. Who knew? (Everyone who read the instructions, but not the girl with the big purple circle on her forehead.)I regret NOTHING. This thing works amazingly well, and so what if I have a quarter-sized love bite on my forehead? Big whoop. THE BUG THING IMMEDIATELY STOPPED THE ITCHING. Bruises go away; scars from fingernails, not so much.Another word of advice: I bought several of a knock-off brand, thinking, “It’s a plastic barrel with a plunger, how hard could it be to replicate?” I guess fairly hard, because the knock-offs were flimsy and I couldn’t really get a good vacuum with them. I mean, I guess I wouldn’t have been able to suck a ridiculous bruise to the surface of my face with one of the knock-offs, but I probably wouldn’t have been able to suck the itch juice out of my skin, either. I’d much rather have a bruise than a bite.Anyway, this thing is awesome, just don’t use it on your face…or do. I would100% do it again.

I was a little skeptical at first, but the BUG BITE THING Suction Tool really works! I bought this to have on hand during bug season, and it’s been a total game-changer — especially for mosquito bites. I’ve used it on myself and my kids, and it noticeably reduces itching and swelling within minutes.It’s super easy to use, completely chemical-free, and small enough to toss in a purse, diaper bag, or glove box. I also tried it on a bee sting, and it helped pull out the irritation fast. Definitely one of those things you don’t realize you need until you try it — now I won’t go without it.Highly recommend for anyone who spends time outdoors or has kids who seem to be mosquito magnets!

This thing works pretty good. However, today I got a mosquito bite on my face. I thought I would try this and I only had it on for a few seconds, used it as normal, and it left a huge purple bruise on my face! I have an interview in 2 days *cries*. Fine for other parts of your body though!

I've used this Bug Bite Thing on several occasions......I have 4 of them around my house and purse. As soon as you get a mosquito bite use this for 20-30 seconds then your done! The swelling goes away and itchiness gone! I had 10 on one leg and 6 on the other 24 hrs ago and today they're all gone and I didn’t get any hiccies! I’m thrilled! I get bit all the time, and I hate being itchy for days, not to mention having red, raised bites and irritated skin. Genius device!

I am not sure if this tool really works or it's a placebo effect. I am highly allergic to stinging insects & added this to my treatment routines along with antihistamines. If there is one mosquito left in the world, it will find me & cover me in bites. If I sit outside at a restaurant, I will be the only one they bite until I leave to go to the restrooms & the mosquitoes decide to bite them because dinner left. I usually swell up pretty bad but not so much. It's hard to tell if this works or it was the meds but it feels like it helps. I keep it at my bedside because the mosquitoes love to get me at night. I have also tried it with ant bites but get the same results. It's a good tool to have & probably helps.
