Olisio mini project iron
I purchased this iron to use for quilting projects. I have been using it consistently for a week and I have to say it is a great iron. I was a little hesitant because of reviews which said it leaked water. If left in an upright position after use, I did notice some leaking. However, if the iron is left down on the silicon mat when not in use, there is no water leakage. I also saw that some reviewers said they had problems with getting the iron to produce steam. I have not had that issue. If you dial the iron to two (3 is the highest setting) and wait until it is heated, the buttons on the side light up, just press the buttons and you have steam. I have had no issues with the iron. It’s lightweight and the perfect size to iron fabric as I piece it together for my quilt. It irons out wrinkles on fabric and presses seams beautifully. A very good quality product, worth buying!

Perfect for travel
Great iron for travel or to use on small projects on my side table ironing board. I have not used any water for steaming so I can’t comment on that but I will say that the iron gets very hot and presses seams well without any steam. Worth the money!

It’s great in every way but one. Its steam functions is not great I returned one and got another still no change, works the same.

Bad iron
I purchased this iron November 2024. I am a quilter and use it to solely when I am sewing and piecing a quilt. Yesterday my iron started smoking and sparking while I was pressing a quilt block. It took about 4-5 seconds for me to realize what was happening. I immediately turned the iron off and unplugged it. My fabric is scorched and will have to be tossed. A burning smell lingered the rest of the day. I don't know if I have any recourse but this iron was faulty and it will be thrown out. Beware. Are there any irons made in the USA instead of China??!! Just plain junk!
