They're like the modern art of dishware – stylish yet functional.Recently, my kitchen shelving decided to take a dive, sending my Sweese bowls cascading onto the plates below. It was a heart-stopping moment, but astonishingly, not a single dish suffered even a scratch. It was like witnessing a durability miracle.Another testament to their sturdiness was when I accidentally played hot potato with one over the sink. Despite the slip, it emerged unscathed – no chips, no cracks. It's like these dishes have an invisible armor.Given this level of resilience, I'm confident that my Sweese collection will be a long-term feature in my culinary adventures.The one slight drawback? Like many porcelain products, some pieces have minor glaze dent imperfections. But in the grand scheme of things, these are mere beauty spots that don't detract from their overall appeal or functionality. I love this bowls they are very well made and the design is beautiful I use them to serve pozole but they are big enough to use them for other purposes. I’ll recommend

I ordered these beautiful, elegant bowls to replace my 30 year old cereal bowls. My husband recently retired and against my protestations has taken on the job of washing dishes. Needless to say, we have gone from twelve bowls to four in six short months. I am glad he broke those bowls, because my new Sweeze wave bowls are perfect for us. He actually commented on how much he liked the shape and the high gloss on these bowls and the larger size. My first order was in classic white. I loved them so much, that I ordered the steel blue (which is more of deep turquoise). The next day I ordered them in navy. The navy arrives tomorrow, but I am confident that they will arrive in perfect condition like the white and turquoise.I love these bowls for their beauty and also because they are very easy to carry and hold. I have very small and weak hands, but these are designed in such a way that makes them feel lighter than my old bowls. My fingers don't slip into my soup or cereal when carrying them to the table. The only suggestion I have would be to sell this larger (26 oz size) in in the Hot Colors Set or to add yellow or orange to your colors.Thank you for such a beautiful design in a colorful selection.By the way, my husband is not allowed to wash my new bowls. I am hoping he breaks my old dishes,because I plan on buying the matching plates.

Beautiful high quality bowls. Pretty large! I love how great they are for a brothy soup or rice bowls! I would say they are larger than the average bowl which is not what I originally had expected but that had more to do with me not mentally registering the dimensions listed which were accurate so it's not a flaw by any means. All in all- they are pristine, sturdy and super aesthetic so it was an easy decision to hold on to them.

Cute bowl, need better size pictures tho

I'd already purchased the set of larger 8", 42 oz bowls (I was looking for a plain white set...most of the patterned sets are just tacky-looking) and LOVED them. We use them every day and they stand up to daily wear, including use in the oven and microwave, without scratching or chipping. The porcelain finish is extremely durable. I'm sure this set of 6" bowls will get just as much use, if not more. An excellent product.

When my now former dinnerware's salad bowls started to get lost and broken to the point where I only had 2 left, I got concerned about finding replacements that would last. I loved the smaller pasta bowls from Sweese to use as everyday plates so I decided to check out their selection of bowls too.Originally I wasn't sure which size would work, so I decided to buy the 3 tiered stand with 18oz bowl, 28oz bowl, and 42 oz bowl to kind of live with them and see if they would work for me and so I'd have something to serve sides at cookouts & brunch parties. Win/win!Turned out the 42 oz bowls were PERFECT so I bought this 4 pack. They're fantastic and not just for my big salads but also my soups. Hot soups wouldn't heat the upper edge of the "swoop" and made moving from the counter to the table easy and safe. No more steamed or near-boiled fingertips!These also work so well for bags of popcorn. I've found a full bag of popcorn fits, or nearly so if the kernels pop large. Some pieces might fall over the edge if you're blindly grabbing a handful so I might go with the larger 64oz bowls if that'll be your use case.Highly recommend!
