Does the Job!
I love the way my teeth feel when I leave the dentist office, and I've been trying to up my dental hygiene game (having your first-ever cavity at age 42 will do that to you!). I've been experimenting with a variety of toothpastes, flosses and the WaterPik, and then I stumbled across these while browsing through dental hygiene things. It looked just like the little cups my hygienist used, so I figured if I did this once a month or so, that would be a great way to keep things ultra-clean.The little cups arrived in pristine condition, packed in a tiny bag. I ordered the mint-flavored X-Coarse grit. Heeding some of the earlier reviews, I used a toothpick and a bit of water to mix up what was in the cup, creating more of a gel-like consistency that could be easily scooped onto my brush. Though I do have an electric toothbrush (and will use that next time!) this time I just wanted to use the manual brush to get a better feel for how it works, how it feels on my teeth, and places that might need a bit more attention. It went on the brush just fine. I was very pleasantly surprised by the grit - not too much, not too little, but just like what my hygienist uses. I used the brush in circular motions all over my teeth, paying close attention to the areas between the teeth. The taste was very nice. I used half the cup, then rinsed out my mouth, then went over it again with the other half of the cup. I finished up with a swirl of mouthwash to help ensure all the grit was gone.I LOVE the way my teeth feel after using this. They are slick and clean, fresh-feeling, just like they should be. I noticed that it whitened my teeth just a little bit almost immediately, which is a nice bonus, so I can imagine it would work well on stains. I found that I had to be a little careful around the gumline at the front, as it was really sensitive to the grit, but by taking care and going slowly with the toothbrush, that shouldn't be a problem in the future. However, if you do have really sensitive gums or teeth, perhaps a lighter grit would be a better choice.Needless to say, I'm pleased. I'm thinking about using this once a month, so that's a little over a year of treatments for less than ten bucks - not bad! I will definitely order more when I run out.

It’s fresh tasting but on the fence
It’s clean feeling and coarse so you think it must be working but when I look after brushing my teeth look the same. But I will buy it again as ai like the texture even if it’s only working a little bit.

Just like going to the dentist. Great buy!
I clean my teeth with this paste about once a month. It does lighten/clean the teeth at least one shade lighter. I also purchased dental tools to scrap the tartar and so forth. This feels and tastes just like the paste that dentists use. When I visit the dentist for a cleaning the hygienist remarks how clean my teeth are. She's amazed. I don't tell her my secret though. : )) I figure it's better to clean the teeth well, floss daily than to have cavities. I'm going to buy two more packs today.

Forget this. Baking powder works MUCH better!
I’m new to the tooth polish use, but beyond psyched to have finally found it since I have bonding on 4 front teeth, which cannot be whitened by teeth whiteners. And I drink English and chai tea daily! This dark green paste is NOT what dental hygienist use at a dentist cleaning. It’s a far cry from it. Their’s is more granulated and dry, this is like a jam consistency and has a few granular particles here and there. Tastes not great. Before I bought the wand I experimented trying to get tea stains off my bonding with a rough dental file which made their surface quite rough, irritating my inner lip in a couple days. Not clever, I know :). So I came across the polishing wand on amazon and I use this green stuff to try to smooth that out. It did a little, but wasn’t that porcelain polish a dentist gives.Lightbulb moment. I realized baking soda was a super fine polishing texture and totally safe on teeth.Sure enough, I dabbed my polishing wand in that and in seconds I had pearly white super soft glistening teeth again!Everyone has baking soda and it’s dirt cheap. I’ll never buy a paste again. Only downside, baking soda of course has no fluoride but who cares, your toothpaste does!

Taste is good
I really like the taste and the grit. Feels like I’m getting a good clean. Other toothpaste’s burn my mouth and ruin the taste of any drink or food I have afterwards.
