If you’re contemplating buying…BUY IT!!
This book is truly helping to not only motivate me through my journey of disciplining myself, but altering my thought process on a day to day basis. When I first began my true journey of working towards something more, I was overwhelmed by the selection of books to choose from, and may I say there hasn’t been a day that I regretted picking this book. I am currently on my second time reading it, it hasn’t gotten old, I truly enjoy this book and what Daniel Walter’s has to offer with his words.

I love how it’s to the point. The author is not afraid to just say out loud. I definitely recommend to anybody that is trying to make some serious life changes and is not afraid to hear it raw.

There's a lot of fluff sprinkled with pseudoscience but there's some good advice in between
First off the negative: after listening I had to double check the date because some of these motivational talking points I haven't heard in ages, like the 80/20 baloney (80% of value only comes from 20% of people). The first few chapters are filled with fluff, talking about MRI scanning brain activity and there's spots in the brain activated when their discipline is occurring or whatever (as you can tell i barely could pay attention). Then they go on about you should not be easily offended and don't complain which is ok advice for this book, but in my opinion all the conveniences we have today came from people communicating and identifying problems they're having (complainers) but I get the topic of the book I bought and I'll let it slide. The biggest problem i have with this book (other than the cringey motivational tone 'if you listen to this advice your life will change forever and you'll achieve all your goals yipiee!") is how much they look up to authority like Bill Gates or Oprah and they keep naming different athletes and celebrities as the book goes on. Like not everybody respects them or want to be like them. I just want to learn about discipline for my own reason. If I got the physical book I would black out all the unnecessary information. My Last problem but just a minor one, talking about hard work and all that while talking about renting your home and being afraid of renting out to bad tenants as an example in the next sentence is not only a contradiction, it's just scummy behavior in my opinion, for a book that talks about being your best self and all that. All of that being said, there's still good advice in this book. It's just this author and I don't see eye to eye on many things which kind of lowers the value for me. There's nothing mind blowing but I think if you follow the advice and ignore all the motivational mumbo jumbo your life will improve. I just finished the book and I'm gonna try all of these exercises out. This book is big on meditation, i'm skeptical about it but i'm open minded and I'll give it a shot. If I succeed in following in this book I'll edit this review in several months about the results.
