I purchased the pair of electronic timer switches (TE02) and was initially rather disappointed as both of the units were unresponsive. Appreciating that they contained rechargeable batteries I plugged them into the mains which resulted in one becoming operational after only a few moments. The other remained non-operational after having been connected to the mains for 8 hours plus.I contacted support via email provided in the packaging and received a reply within 24 hours suggesting I hold the reset button button on the timer down for 5 to 10 seconds whilst plugged into the mains, and after trying several times the timer remained unresponsive. A further email was promptly answered with an offer of replacement, or a refund. Having opted for a replacement they were shipped and arrived within a couple of days.I can not comment on long term usage, but in testing the timers they are intuitive to set up and appear to operate as described: the instructions are easy to follow. One thing that I was not clear about when buying them is that if you set the random functionality on then this overrides any programmed times, i.e. the timers will NOT allow both programmed timing and random functionality, it is one or the other..Whilst I find it a shame that the units are not tested more thoroughly prior to being shipped I am most impressed with the support offered by the company. Would I recommend the products, yes given that timers provide the functionality I sought, and the outstanding support provided to resolve the issue with the unresponsive unit.

When it arrives the units already have some charge to them so you can set some presets straight away. If you follow the instructions (they are a little bit complicated) they do work perfectly. The only thing that for me is a bit of a downside would be that they are a little bit complicated to set a timer with multiple steps. But you can set many presets on each device for different times of day and different days and for say every weekday jointly or individually and the same with the weekend.

Easy to set up, tonnes of different programmes that can be set. I use mine for lights around the house and the garden. No noise too! So much better than the dial ones. Will be replacing all my timers with those from now on

Brilliant addition to the home,reliable timer,easy to fit.

These are good, my only gripe is that when not plugged into the mains [i.e. being stored waiting to be used] the internal battery does not hold the on/off times that you have created for any lengths of time. mine ran down inside two week meaning if and when i come to use it again i will need to plug it in long enough to get some power into the battery back up or program it whilst it is plugged into the mains. it is however easy to use with a clear display so this really is only a minor downside!!

One works as intended, can easily set the time and set multiple timers for different days. I can easily turn it on if I need power not on a specified time and day. But the one that does not work it sounds like a component inside is loose and it was never connected properly because the sound was there from day one of arrival. Unsure what I can do as I really need both to be working.
