I wanted this fan for camping and when we go to the beach. After reading my reviews on different fans, I decided this was going to be my Best Buy. Once the product arrived, I was not disappointed.This fan is lightweight and built with quality materials. It was easy to remove the top to access the battery compartment. Put in two D cell batteries, and you’re all set. The different settings on the fan are a great feature as well as the light. The hook makes it great to hang from the center of the tent. This fan puts out a decent amount of cool air.The light definitely comes in handy when it is super dark and you’re trying to find something or simply get in and out of the tent without tripping over something.I have not used it enough yet to know how long the batteries will last but it’s easy enough to carry a spare set whether you were camping out at the beach or simply relaxing somewhere.This fan is set at a great price point and performs wonderfully. If you were looking for a decent size fan compact enough for camping yet big enough to put out a decent amount of air with the added light. This product is a great option.

I have used this fan for over a year now, and I love it!It's small but super useful! I keep it in my car for when I go places, I have a fan that moves a decent amount of air. I have serious health issues when it comes to being able to thermal regulate myself, and I can't handle heat very well at all. Sometime when visiting others, they like the temp of their place warmer than I can comfortably handle, and that's when this lil workhorse comes out to save my day!I would recommend this fan to anyone that wants a good, portable fan.NOTE: It does use batteries, and is not rechargable... But you can always do what I did and get rechargable batteries to use in it!

I bought this for our first camping trip and it was very useful. It was placed in the middle of the tent, hanging down and the buddy heater below it. We didn’t need to use the fan to distribute the heat, but instead used the lights in the evening. Boy was it bright on the low setting. The medium lit the entire 10 person tent like a regular room light.After camping, I tried using it as a desktop fan while I work and it came in handy. There are three fan setting and I was perfectly fine with it on the low setting. I angled it so I could feel the breeze but not get too cold if it’s blowing directly in my face. I started to use it on Wednesday afternoon. It was perfect and I didn’t need to turn the big fan or AC on. Perfect solution. Continued to use it on Thursday and Friday. But forgot that it was on all weekend long. I didn’t even hear the fan running. That’s how quiet it was. Come Sunday evening, I sit at my desk to check emails and to my surprise this fan was still chugging along. It wasn’t breezy on low, it you could see that it’s spinning and get minimal feel of the wind.This lasted on brand new batteries all weekend long!I only deduct a star because of the switch. They’re too close to each other and instead of a slide switch it could be something else. Other than that, love this fan. The handle are good and don’t feel weird either. You can hang this or prop it up.Another great feature is that the led lights can go one way and the fan another. I kept the box so that it stay in great condition.

Just got back from a camping trip and I was looking to get some gear when I came across this. Amazon tells me I bought this in 2017. I used this my whole trip and it still works great! 5 stars

We have had this light/fan for about 2 years but it saw minimal use. It has broken at the hinge that holds the light portion to the fan so now you cannot move it. It is holding on by a thread and I do not expect it to last much longer. I do like the fact that it has a hook and is a light/fan combo but the light itself is not very bright. The fan is also not that powerful. Overall not a terrible purchase but there are likely better options out there.

Took this camping for the July 4th holiday. We hung it up under our canopy. The fan helped keep air circulating quite nicely and the light was bright enough for us all to play cards well after dark! Definitely worth the money and definitely a quality product!!!

Good fan strength and light brightness! Little plastic-y but overall very nice! Held up to BSA Summer camp and that earns it five stars in my book!

I used these for my 10x10 canopy. Definitely helped create a breeze! I also used them during a baseball game, fan only. The only drawback is D size batteries. Makes these a bit heavier and I need to have extra batteries on hand. While I've only used both for about two hours, I haven't need to use new batteries. I would have preferred the light a bit brighter. But for the price point, more affordable than others on the market.
