Shoes Look Like New
I purchased this kit after reading reviews at NYTimes Wirecutter I think. This kit cleaned the dirt off the toe of my suede adidas samba court shoes and removed the blue jean dye that rubbed off on the suede heel tab and white sides of the shoe body. Shoes look like new.

Definitely better than water alone, pleasant and natural scent
The media could not be loaded. My video speaks for itself, the result is very good, the rubber midsole of my tennis shoes is not 100% white again as when it was new, there are still some minor stains as you can notice, BUT you should know that neither the BAKING SODA nor the BLEACH got a better result on this material, I would say that this product achieved a 90-95% restoration, which is very good, and more being a product free of aggressive chemicals. On the white fabric material of my tennis shoes it also worked well, BUT if there are old stains, concentrated bleach will work much better. The only small NEGATIVE is that the liquid is like water not like a gel, which creates waste when pouring it into the brush or material directly, it would work better if it was more concentrated almost like a GEL.

Only use a little at a time
This is a good product. Just don’t use a lot at a time. A little product goes a long way.

Safely cleans and protects shoes
I got this kit to clean a pair of suede shoes that had the misfortune of meeting some dirty water and becoming discolored. I didn't have a whole lot of hope that this would clean dyed suede very well, as it can be very finicky once it gets wet, but I'm happy with the results. There is a QR code on the package that leads you to videos on how to use the products. Basically, you brush the shoes dry to remove dust and dirt, then spray a little bit of cleaner on the wet brush and use it to scrub away any stains. Finally, use a microfiber cloth (sold separately, or just use one you have around the house) to wipe off the excess cleaner and let the shoes dry. I found that these steps made my shoes look almost new.Once they were clean, I used the repel spray to treat the shoes to prevent further stains. I have used a few different stain repellant sprays on shoes/leather, and my gripe is always the smell and possibility of gross chemicals. This repel spray is water-based and made without PFAS, so I feel a lot better about using it. The spray comes out evenly, which means there aren't any weird looking spots from overspraying. I used this on my shoes, but I also found it useful to treat a cap I just got that has a suede-like brim.Overall, this is a really good kit for cleaning shoes and keeping them looking their best. The quality is good, a little bit goes a long way, and it's made with safe/earth friendly ingredients.

Repel works - but go slow and apply in layers
My daughter wanted to waterproof a few pairs of brand new shoes. We looked around for an option, then saw this Jason Markk kit with Repel in it. We have only used the Repel so far, but it has worked well! We have had snow and rain, and her shoes still look great. It is protecting the shoes and keeping them looking new. The only thing we noticed was it required a few layers to cover the shoes, so go slow and apply in layers. We do not have shoes that require cleaner yet, but plan to try this when we do.

Can boots look ashy?
I used this on my favorite J.B. Dillon boots. The brush is small, nothing like the boot brush I had in the military. I'd been hauling firewood from a particularly muddy spot, so it took a while to get the mud off the boots with the tiny little brush. The boots were brown, and I didn't notice any color stripping from the leather while using the cleaner once I'd removed the bulk of the mud. After the boots dried, and then I sprayed the waterproofing on the boots, and that's where my issue really lies. The waterproofing created a strange white residue on my genuine full grain leather boots that, kind of rolls up and pills like dirt when friction is applied to the boots. It made them look old and like the leather needed to be conditioned again. Not a fan of how ashy my boots look now. :(
