Brought my failed device back to life
It brought my TI-84 back to life. It was stuck in Validating OS, and no amount of resets worked. The old battery was dead as it had not been charged for a long time.

Did the trick!
My TI-84 plus CE calculator was acting up after not using it for a whole semester. When I charged it, it kept flashing and could not hold a battery. Since my 1 year warranty was already up, I took a chance buying this replacement. As you can see in the photo, no more flashing and my calculator is functioning properly again. I did not need to charge the calculator after installing the replacement battery because it had some power in it as it was delivered.

Perfect replacement.
My TI calculator went into an endless boot loop when hooked up to a charger after months of just sitting idle. None of the resetting methods I tried worked. This battery solved the problem immediately. It was easy to install, and fit perfectly. The calculator now functions properly.

Fixes Validating OS Boot Loop
A brand new TI-84 Plus CE had an issue where it only kept saying validating os and then rebooting in a loop. I tried resetting the calculator, using another charging block, and using another charge cable but it still did the same thing. I used a multimeter to measure the battery voltage and it was completely dead and wouldn't charge. So, after swapping out the battery with this one, it's working perfectly again. The OS validated and the calculator boots up and charges fine.

Got my TI-84 calculator working again
The media could not be loaded. I connected my calculator to a charger after it had been sitting idle for a few years, and it remained stuck in a "Validating OS" loop. According to the Internet, that's caused by a faulty battery, which can be fixed by replacing it with a good one.I dropped in this battery, and the calculator is working as well as new!

TI needs to do better.
Lasted less than 2 months. Purchased on January 28th; charged it once...it's now March the 27th and the battery is dead and won't take a charge.
