I add this to the mix when changing water, adding new fish or if I have to be too intrusive in the tank.

The media could not be loaded. I use this weekly, RELIGIOUSLY. I do not miss a dose. This is my tank today, having not touched the filter in 18 months. (Fluval FX6 filled with only biohome filter media and polishing sponges.) I’ve only changed out the live plants when needed (pothos houseplant clippings) and used the magnetic algae glass scraper when needed. It’s a 75 gallon tank. I8 MONTHS!!! I highly recommend this product. Zero odor, zero nastiness.

Works very well with my fish tank. Use it weekly with partial water change. Keeps the water clear.

CLEANS UP THE TANK

i don't have algae eating fish so i noticed green algae growth on the corners of the tank, on the rocks and plant leaves. 4 days after adding the recommended dose the algae growth lessened and after a week or so it was too a bare minimum. some reviews about this product state that it doesn't work and dont waste your time and money. i disagree completely because my Betta"shark" seems much happier and yes the algae growth is barely seen and the water is much much much cleaner. I'm really not into doing frequent water changes because it will disrupt the delicate balance of the aquarium environment. like i said, this product works! but nothing can last forever so for me replacing the water has been prolonged to about 2 months or so. i much rather use this than aquarium salt which btw can be harmful to your fish if used incorrectly. use only if your fish had an illness. this product is much more beneficial because fish need bacteria to survive. there was a review about a person mentioning that the product is just a marketing scam and it's hard to believe that something ie: bacteria in a bottle sitting on a shelf cannot live for months on end waiting to be purchased and used. if this product is trulya scam and it doesn't work then explain to me why my algae is suddenly almost gone?

I was struggling with a lot of green and brown algae. Even with real plants and consistent water changes. I used less than the recommended dose for a 5 gallon tank. It’s been one week and the water has improved so much! I have significantly less algae and the water is clear. I’m always worried about the health of my fish when introducing a new product, but he seems just fine
