Helps with my back issue
I have a back issue where the natural curves are almost entirely absent and that led to some other unpleasant problems with my back. Decades of office work is mostly to blame. This chair is great to keep the lower back muscles engaged which works towards creating or keeping the lower back curve. This chair, I'd say, not as comfortable as traditional office chairs but the tradeoff is well worth it for people with back issues like mine.

Improves posture
Seems to be what I expected. I think this ergo stool can improve my sitting posture to elevate my sore back and neck.

Great and sturdy
I want to say that this chair is great. It’s easy to assemble, sturdy and looks classy and elegant. It’s quite comfortable too. However, I’ve been using my husband’s kneeling chair in the last couple of months—he has the expensive brand’s chair which I borrowed. I got used to that one, and that is the only reason why I’m sending back this one. This chair has a slightly different angle for the hips and knees than the expensive one: in this chair I’m sitting a bit higher and especially my hips are slightly higher than on the other one, and that causes that I feel like I’m sliding down a little after sitting on it for quite some time (btw I’m 5’7” and thin). The cushions for the butt and for the knees are thick enough but firm as well—initially this can be a bit uncomfortable if you sit on it all day long, but my experience is that the cushions will soften, so don’t get discouraged if initially it’s not the softest. I couldn’t feel the wood at all so it gives enough padding. The knee pad is wide enough to sit on it comfortably.Another thing I got used to on the other chair is to sit with one leg bent on the padding and the other leg extended BETWEEN the two knee pads—this chair, however, has one big cushion and not two smaller ones with space in between them, which means that I can’t sit on this one like that.It was also important to me for the chair to be a rocking chair and not one with legs: it’s crucial to be able to move the spine (especially the lower back) a bit throughout the day. This is a good feature in this chair too.I also want to add that it takes TIME to get used to a kneeling chair if you never tried it before: try sitting on it for shorter periods and alternating between your regular chair and this one, and gradually increase the time you spend on it.I have the means to buy the expensive one so TO ME that is worth it (but it depends on height, weight, and so many other things what feels comfortable for someone and what not), and given that it’s slightly more comfortable I’m choosing that one. But if I wanted to spend much less but still get a sturdy, comfortable rocking kneeling chair, then I would totally keep this one.

Very nice quality, but the fabric wore off all my leg hair!
I like the design of this knealing chair, but I have to give it 3 stars simply for the low quality padding and slightly rough fabric, which had wore off my legs hair on both shins. I wish they would make a really good quality cushion for the legs. It's definitely foam / cotton and not memory foam or purple cell cushion, which would be amazing. I think a vegan leather type material would hold up better and not wear off leg hair. But the design is really nice and the frame is super solid. Just wishing the cushioning and fabric got an upgrade.

Kneeling chair
I am 5'2" and 218 lbs.The chair feels very sturdy to me. I purchased it so that I can hand quilt more comfortably for a longer period of time than I could without it.I have severe spine issues in both my lumbar spine and my cervical spine. The kneeling chair takes much of my weight off my lower spine and basically splits the weight between my lower spine and my knees. It does not bother my knees, although I do get up and walk around the room briefly every half hour. I have used the chair to sew for about 6 days now. I have been able to sew longer than I could with a regular chair with a waffle cushion on it; It's nice to be able to sew longer without being in as much pain.I recommend this chair. It's easy to get on and off the chair. It feels very natural to sit in this position.

Comfortable but wrong color
I've wanted a kneeling chair for years, but I finally ordered one when sitting in a regular chair too painful for my lower back. The chair is very comfortable, the cushions are a nice compromise between soft and supportive, and I can sit for quite a while without needing to get up and move. I'm 5'2" and I fit just fine (although I think I'm at the bottom end of the acceptable height range for this chair). It is a bit wobbly from side to side, even though I tightened up all of the bolts as far as they would go, but I'm the only one using this chair so I'm not worried. I wouldn't recommend it if you've got kids who are going to climb on this and see how much they can make it wiggle around. The back and forth rocking motion is quite nice, it certainly helps with my tendency to fidget while sitting still.I am a bit disappointed in the color. I ordered the "Pecan" to match the mid-tone of my other wood furniture in tone, but the chair they sent is marked as "walnut" and is much, much darker than pictured or anticipated. It really doesn't match anything I own. I have a small studio apartment so the chair is always visible and just stands out (and not in a good way). If you're going to advertise a certain color, sending something other than what was ordered is not OK.

Unique Office Chair - Offers More than Expected!
I rarely write reviews and am not being incentivized to do so. As a kneeling chair alone it can be hard on the shins and I add a pillow if I am in that position for a while. That's the biggest negative. The chair is attractive, rocks nicely if you want it to but has a lot of stability. My favorite part is I can shift and find lots of positions to use this chair in. I turn it around and sit on the chair part without the kneeling feature. I can also lean far back during the day and release the tension in my back. I can stretch into a cross legged position and still be stable. It is really great in this way versus trying to use it just for kneeling alone. I am flexible and lightweight and so I am not sure how this would work for all different body types but for me it is a winner.
