I thought my console was bad until I discovered my power cord was the problem. I replaced the power cord with this one and things are back to normal. No complaints.

Works as if it was the original
Thought my wii was dead, it had power just wouldn't turn on, just had a red light on the system. Figured a last chance effort before giving up was buying a new power supply to see if that would do anything. This worked perfectly and now my system is back to working as it should. Extremely satisfied with this purchase. Works as it should.

Glad this was available
When the Wii suddenly stopped working, the grandkids were very disappointed. Me too. I realized that for many many years, I'd turn off the Wii but the power supply remained energized. I"m surprised it lasted as long as it did. This is an old Wii system. I was delighted to find out I could get the games fired up again with the simple purchase of this power supply. I have this new one on a switch so when the games are done, so is the power supply.
