I've owned these now for two years and have gigged extensively with them. I use them with and without the EV sub, and both ways sound great. Plenty of power and volume for outdoor shows and any small to med club (have not tried them in very large room). Our band consistently gets compliments on our sound. Two years in, they still look and sound like new. My only complaint is the length of the power cables. 6 feet? Really? When mounted on the stands the cables barely reach the floor. I need either ext cords or a power strip at the base of each stand. Very impractical for gigging. They should come with at least 10 foot power cables, 15' would be ideal. Not enough of a problem to give less than 5 stars, but c'mon EV, splurge on some length, please

I love these speakers. I've read some reviews that say they don't put out enough bass, but I'd say it depends on your taste. I find these pump out lots of low end for my needs, and I like my sound LOUD. From Four80East and Candy Dulfer to Jimi Hendrix and Excision, I have pretty eclectic taste that also includes a lot of Classical and bluegrass.Their response across a wide frequency range is clean and accurate with no noticeable distortion that I can hear. I have two of them paired by the included cable and run a Samsung tablet with my music as a "server". Most of my music is recorded in lossless format and the balance at high bitrates so it's a little more demanding that a run-of-the-mill MP3.Overall, these aren't Klipsch (and I have two sets of Heresy speakers with some Ohm Fs for my home theater), but they're darn good and worth every penny. Oh, and the stands are heavy, large diameter tubes that will hold up to lots of use and abuse.

The media could not be loaded. I love everything about this speakers. Specifically sound quality and also the back panel how you can configure it any way you want. Also very light for the quality. They did an excellent job with these speakers. I also own a pair of Cerwin Vega CVE-15 and really I don’t know witch one to like more. The only down side is that I can’t dual bluetooth them like the Cerwin Vegas , but who cares a good quality for cable will do. If you are researching stop wasting time and buy these speakers you won’t regret it. I didn’t.

These speakers are not powered, and the input receptors do not pair with my powered EV 12in speaker’s outputs. This was not listed anywhere on the Amazon listing, and to return the speakers I have to pay a $70 shipping fee, and possible 10-15 percent restocking fee. Let alone my package shipped without a user manual which is required in order to avoid the restocking fee.

I was amazed by the power and very very clear sound this equipment has. In combination with the ELX200-18SP it gives a great balance of highs and lows.
