Easy setup, great fog, 10/10
Easy setupRead the instructions to learn how to use to it. Watch YouTube video if you can’t figure it out.Fog comes on perfect timing and exactly what I need.Refill so easy at the top 1 gallon takes like 1 minute to refill, so simple. My white tree frogs love the fog/humidity.

1 less thing I need to worry about!
Takes the worrying and constantly having to keep an eye on the humidity for any sort of tropical animal you have. Works perfect for my ball python. For a 4’x2’x2’ tank I have mine set to mist every 30 minutes for a total of 2 minutes on level 3. You can set it run it 24/7 if you wanted or you can have it have it go off in 30 min- 1,2,3,4,5 hr intervals and control how long and dense the fog will be. Very easy to set up. No noise at all. For the money, it’s worth it. Especially if you have an actual job and can’t stay home everyday and mist your snake. This does all the work for you, while you work! I’ve also had this same one for over a year now and haven’t had a single problem with it. Still works like new!

Leaking after less than 6 months
Product leaking after less than 6 months. Website says they do not honor warranty from third party sellers, but this is the Repti Zoo store on Amazon. Hoping Repti Zoo will stand behind product. Will update if Repti Zoo comes through to replace or fix this item.

Convenient
Works great at keeping the humidity just right in my ball python’s enclosure. It holds a lot of water and you’re able to add more without any hassle. Highly recommend using distilled water versus tap water, it kept mine pretty clean. However my first one lasted me 2 years, then the fan quit. It would still make fog but wouldn’t blow it out.I gave 4 stars because it states that you can easily replace the fan but all I found on their site and Amazon was a fan for an earlier model for roughly $4. Could not find the fan for this one though. So in the end, I bought another one because this humidifier is convenient.

Leaking problems? Unit functions flawlessly after doing this
This fogger is great, it doesn't help with soil humidity so misting is still required if you have an animal that needs it to be humid underground. I'm using this for my blood python, and I live in the desert so normally I have to mist multiple times a day. With this unit, I only have to mist once a day, and if I miss a day my substrate isn't bone dry when I get to it. The timer functions etc are great, but I quickly stopped using them and switched to a humidity controller, which keeps the humidity from swinging wildly like when you mist. This unit works great with the controller, just make sure it is set to continuous. However, like many others have mentioned, I eventually ran into a major problem. After working perfectly up to this point, the unit suddenly started leaking like a sieve. I filled it and less than an hour later all of that water was in my carpet. After researching I came across a video from the manufacturer on maintaining the unit. The video pretty much just says take it apart and clean it, and really only mentions one other specific thing. It says to push down on the little spring at the bottom of the tank, remove the little white gasket that pops up inside the tank, and thoroughly clean that entire assembly. Upon removing those pieces I discovered two things: that little gasket is the only thing that controls the flow of water from the tank to the base and that the bottom of the gasket was covered in grime to the point where it could no longer seal. After cleaning the gasket and replacing it the unit was suddenly back to operating flawlessly. You should still clean the rest of the unit as it holds water and like anything in constant contact with water it will eventually get nasty. The unit can be cleaned fairly well to operating condition with just a sponge, however to really clean it well you will definitely need some tools to get into small spaces such as brushes and pipe cleaners or something similar in various sizes.Manufacturer recommends cleaning thoroughly at least once a month. As long as I do that, I haven't run into any problems with this unit. Please note that the unit has to be taken apart when you receive it as there are foam pieces in the base to prevent it from being damaged during shipping. If not removed they will also cause leaking.

Great when it worked
I purchased this March 27th and it was great for awhile. It stopped producing fog, and then the entire thing stopped working entirely. It no longer powers on. I got this for my Blue Tongue Skink and he absolutely loved it. Now the humidity is too low again. Which was the entire purpose of purchasing this. I'd like a replacement, but amazon already says its outside the return window.

Works as advertised!!
I have had this set up for my snake enclosure for a couple of weeks and I have had no issues at all with it. It's extremely quiet (except for the button selections). Very easy to maintain. I am going to be getting another one for the bearded dragon enclosure as well. Definitely recommend. You may also want to get something to measure the humidity to make things easier to maintain.
