Fresh Key Limes 3 lbs

Made the best Key Lime pie with these. Totally hard to get 1 cup of juice from these tiny babies but so worth it

I was VERY hesitant at first. I have never bought fruit/food over the internet. The key limes arrived early. The colors may seem off but that is because I soak them in a vinegar + water bath to throughly clean the limes. These were amazing and had quite a lot of juice (which amazes me by how small they are). If you get yellowish ones, do NOT toss them. Lighter colored key limes are great for juicing. Darker green limes are better for garnish. They still have juice in them, they're just a little more tarte than the yellow limes. Made some homemade keylime pie for my Fiancé birthday and it was a success! Don't be afriad to try new things! Have a great day :)

Vendor shipped store bought seedless Persian limes rather than key limes as advertised. The Amazon agent that I spoke with indicated that I was not the first person to report this vendor before issuing a full refund.“Key limes tend to be small and seedy, with a distinctive lime flavor that is tart, but not too acidic. They also have a very distinct aroma, far more aromatic than common limes. Grocery store limes, generally speaking, are Persian limes, the most widely commercially cultivated variety of lime.”

Wonderfully fresh with lots of juice and of course seeds, very good taste and they were actually key limes! Very well packaged with quick delivery, very pleased.

I was definitely skeptical about ordering fruit through the mail. It’s hard to find these locally specially organic. Came in 2 days I’d order again.
