Tick, Tick, Tick
The original and the replacement I purchased made a whole lot of noise. This one worked properly, and I never hear a Tock or any noise. Music to my ears.

It’s between a while but it works again…
The media could not be loaded. Almost a perfect fit with one small modification I again have a working clock. It was all about getting the correct shaft length.

All in all I'm happy with the purchase
PROS: Well priced, quick delivery CONS: Challenging to install the watch hands. I replaced an old and nonfunctional clock movement in a Regulator clock. The price was reasonable and delivery was quick through Prime. I quickly discovered that the clock hand stem was too long. Fortunately, placing a plastic spacer on the stem and then inserting the stem into the back of the case took care of the problem. It took much more time to fit the hour and minute hands on the stem. The watch hands were very thin pieces of metal and so pressing down on them became an issue until I developed "the touch" after several tries. I didn't see any instructions on where to place the hands, so I set the clock upside down and then placed the hands so that they were pointing downwards at "12." I then adjusted the time using the dial in the back of the movement. The clock has been working for 2 days. Time appears to be accurate and the pendulum swings nicely. All in all I'm happy with the purchase, but wish that installation of the watch hands had been better engineered.

Clock works well.
This clock works perfectly. I bought this clock to insert in a small grandfather clock I made. It looks good, works well and keeps accurate time. I can unreservedly recommend this to anyone. Having said that, I have been using this for only a couple of months so I cannot say whether it will last a long time but for now, I am very happy with it.

Works well - very quiet - Note oblong hole on minute hand
The media could not be loaded. I used this to replace a movement on a clock my brother-in-law had made for us. I was able to reuse the hands from the original movement (I prefer black), then add the gold sweep second hand from this kit. This was one of the few kits that had a press-fit hour hand and an oblong hole for the minute hand, the same as the movement I was replacing. I needed to add a little spacer behind the movement and bend the hands in slightly to clear the glass housing. It has been keeping time perfectly. I also don't like the ticking sound of a pendulum clock. I don't know if it is because the clock hangs slightly forward (not flush to the wall) on top, but it runs very quitely, which is what I wanted.

Nice but high priced
These pendulum kits are all the same however this one was high priced compared to the others with no better quality construction to it and as a matter of fact the hands were short small and flimsy so I use the ones off the broken kit that I took out also this one and all the other pendulum kits have pendulums that are not adjustable and they are making them too short for many of the clocks so I took off a star for that too because the older ones were longer and adjustable simply by breaking off and inch or two or three if you needed too make them shorter.

Defective
This mechanism was defective. It is loosing time. Lost 3 hours over 1 month’s time. When you try and replace it, marking it as defective, you are told to contact Walnut Hollow. Contact Walnut Hollow., they say to contact seller Hour Loop. Almost impossible to contact hour loop for defective part. Just want a replacement. The original wood carved clock now over 20 years old had a Walnut Hollow mechanism. The second replacement was also Walnut Hollow mechanism. This third purchase was very disappointing.
