I wanted a case for my Prismacolor pencils that would protect them and make it easy to find the colors I needed. This is perfect! The case is well made and has a pocket on the front and a zippered pocket on the back. It’s a bit of a tight fit with 4 pencils per slot, but I think the elastic would get looser in time. I purchased the alpacas and I like the pattern and colors. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the item.

I bought this in hopes of storing my nice colored pencils in but I was definitely disappointed. The pencils are only held by a flimsy, stretchable band which means they are not secure at all. My tips kept breaking due to the lack of security. This case may be ideal for a child or someone who doesn't have expensive pencils to store but if you've made an investment in nicer, more expensive artist tools then I suggest you also invest in a case that will actually protect your pencils. Also, the storage is so crammed that it makes it nearly impossible to remove the pencil you're wanting to use.

I've accumulated lots of hooks in the 20+ years I've been crocheting and was in the habit of just tossing them in a little pencil bag whenever I left home. After seeing a recommendation on line, I ordered one of these.It holds most of my hooks...even my long Tunisians! The only ones that don't fit are my mega huge 15+mm hooks. :-) I also has space for stitch markers, a small tape measure, scissors and my small needle case PLUS two outside pockets for patterns and CGOA information.

I love these pencil cases. I have one of my own, and I have bought one for my niece and nephew this past Christmas and they love them! I also have gotten one from my mom in the past and she loves it! My niece who is six years old described it as a suitcase for your pencils! I like the soft padded fabric, it gives them extra protection. The only downside I can see to this case is if you identify your pencils by looking at the names or numbers at the bottom of the pencil, in this case as you can see you don’t have a visual of the bottom when you’re picking out your pencils if you have put them in tip up. Now, I don’t have a problem with this because I pretty much recognize my pencils from the tips or paint color. You can fit quite a few pencils in there, yeah it is still sleek and compact and I believe it is a reasonable price for the product, it is well-made. I would recommend this case!

I got this pencil holder for my Holbein colored pencil set of 36 and a few odd pencils. It is more convenient than the larger capacity pencil cases because it doesn't have the leaves to fold through in order to view all the pencils. Just a quick glance and I can see the whole set. I have full sets of other pencils with the larger cases that I like just fine, this is just more convenient so I grab it more often. The cover art is bright and lovely. The fabric appears to be durable and I believe will last for years and years.

The outside is exactly as pictured. All the colors are great. The seams & construction looks great. It's light weight enough and durable. Fits well into my backpack or messenger bag.My only complaint is that to fit 96 pencils or markers into it, you have to layer them in such a fashion it feels like this scenario where you're trying to wedge too many straws into a single hole on a lid. The little areas to put the pencils/ markers/ brushed into get pretty snug which means in the long run they may wear on the seams more. This is if you really do try to aim for 96 pencils.However, it's perfect and roomy for a good 30 of my colored pencils and another 36 water color pencils on top of it. I LOVE it for being able to keep a bit of a 'drawing kit' when mixing some of the water color pencils, graphite pencils, ink markers/pens, and regular colored pencils with a brush or two. It works great!

I like the size. it's compact but holds plenty of colored pencils for almost any picture. I have a larger pencil case for big excursions, but this one is just the bees knees if you don't feel the need to bring along every colored pencil you own. It will hold about 70 colored pencils, a couple graphites, two graphic pens, my electric eraser, my micro-zero eraser, a kneaded eraser, and a small brass sharpener. I like the handy pocket in one outside cover (which holds a topbound 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" notebook and a zipper pocket on the other outside cover. Love the placement of the handle, too. I highly recommend this great pencil case.
