Working well so far...
I use these for liquid culture jars on culinary mushrooms. They have survived one autoclave run so far, and appear to be holding up well. No contamination has gotten through, and its providing enough gas exchange.

Break very easily
Many of these filters break very easily. I give 3 stars because they cost half as much as similar filters on here. Nearly 50% of these break immediately upon use, so I'm not sure that's even a good deal.It's hit or miss, some are good filters that hold up and do as good a job as any wheel filter, others break with even light pressure.If these continue to be half the price as the competition, I'll keep buying them, if they become roughly the same price, I'll avoid these cheaply made filters.

Package change gives me pause.
I really like these filters, but the one thing that bothers me is they changed the packaging. They used to be in little compartments in the box. This kept them very neatly organized. Now they are just in a smaller box, and once you start taking them out they get jumbled up, and you have to really work at closing the box. Just kind of annoying. The thing is when a company starts cutting cost it raises a red flag with me. How long before the quality of the filters declines? I'm not saying they will, but it may make me think twice before ordering this brand again.

Snug hold and no wasted product during filtration process
I've tried every brand and type of micron filter. This brand has the ability to hold snug to the syringe without stripping and losing its seal. It's hydrophilic and almost every bit passes through less what you want to filter out! Two thumbs up!

Use syringes that have the screw tip or they slip off.
These fit on the end of a syringe. Very hard to push the plunger. I suggest a vet steel syringe. These filter out everything.Bacteria are .04 microns. These filter to half that size. Warming your sample may help the flow.
